Kim will play 10-12Hey, if you wanna play, you’re gonna have to step up. She’s hinted a couple times that she wants everyone to stay hungry. Nobody’s got a guarantee, only thing she’s promising them right now is that if they buy in, stay hungry and work together, it’s gonna pay off.
And they do probably cut into those players minutes by 2-3 minutes a piece but mostly that would take players at the bottom of the rotation, whomever they may be, completely out of it most of the time. It’s not unlikely that we have a few players who do not enter every game and only play a few minutes in blowout wins.
Nye was a sharp shooterNye would have been nice because she shoots so dang well. I could come or go on Kapinus. I’m curious to see how Vandy uses her. They have a lot of those utility forward players with Washington, Pierre, Kapinus, Pissott, Maukurat. They’re all lost in big guard land or too small center land.
We just built an extremely quick and versatile roster compared to what they have. 0 chance that Vandy team can guard this Lady Vol team off the bounce.
She changed her starters oftenHere’s the minutes distribution from last years Marshall team. Careful, that top line only played in six games. So, seven over 18 minutes, four more over ten. That’s heavy distribution and a deep rotation.

Yes, there is a special 30 day portal period that opens for a school when there is a HC change.I am not sure, but I think if your coach leaves, then you can reconsider your commitment and reenter the transfer portal. As Kim has said, she would recruit a team of point guards if she could. If that is true, then LUCY OLSEN would certainly be contacted by Kim if OLSEN were interested in talking to her. Maybe the GODS are working in mysterious ways for her, and maybe, just maybe, the best PG in the country just fell into her lap. Hey!!!! We can all dream can't we? What would you say if this turns out to be the case? And if DAUDA came along too, What would you guys say about that? What would MULKEY and Dawn Staley say? And what predictions would others make about the LADY VOLS next year? Love to hear your thoughts now!!!!
I'd personally love to get Olsen and one of Dauda or Barker. That would be a Monster Portal Haul. Maybe #1 in the country.I am not sure, but I think if your coach leaves, then you can reconsider your commitment and reenter the transfer portal. She certainly did. ABBY BEEMAN and BREANNA CAMPBELL were the PG leaders of the team. BEEMAN was the SUN BELT player of the year. BEEMAN, CAMPBELL, AISLYNN HAYES, SYNDI SCOTT, and MEREDITH MAIER were the 3-pt shooters. CC MAYS and MAHOGANY MATTHEWS were the other good players on the team. MATTHEWS missed most of the early season. SCOTT was their best defensive player. In short, CALDWELL relied on these 7 players to do the bulk of the work. It wasn't that except for BEEMAN and CAMPBELL, MARSHALL was undersized and undermanned against their opponents, it was that her players simply outplayed their opposition. And KIM let them play to their abilities. SHE HAD NO FEAR, and neither did they. It was really something special to behold. Watching her players playing their best all the time. YOU JUST DON"T SEE THAT OFTEN.She changed her starters often
