Lazaria Spearman three finalists out of HS were Louisville, Miami, and South Carolina. Lazaria has the skill set to thrive in the SEC.

I told folks Tennessee would dominate the portal and this is the beginning.

Folks have their opinion about best rosters and top players etc.

With these first two signings UT has already tipped the scale. I’m watching film and it’s lit🍊! No reasons to go back and forth. UT WBB hired the top young coach in WBB and hired one of the most skilled staff of coaches in the country that has parents and players excited about being apart of the LV family.

Darby 🤣🤣 she has never came through when we needed her the most. Idk how she even works in this offense she doesn’t move at all and is too slow. They need to find another reliable quick shooter in the portal

The Ball Out continues their trend folks.. they highlighted the Karoline Stripline signing to Indiana to put Tennessee name in the topic.

But they still have mentioned a word about Tennessee signing two athletic forwards Lazaria Spearman and Alyssa Latham.

I can’t believe they are that salty about a sport that is business as usual.

I hope they get the help them need to move on and find peace of mind.

I still think it's a missed opportunity. She would have been a starter at the 3 and a huge upgrade for 3 point shooting. But she apparently decided to stay put, so not much that you can do about that.

Yes, we have both of them. Marshall shot 30 threes per game. We need more than 2 known above average three point shooters.

I’m glad it’s funny to you.
I actually meant Jewel Spear and Sara Puckett. Spear was the best shooter on the court in the SEC tourney when UT face Alabama. She went 6/6 from 3pt range while Nye scored 4 points. In Alabama, Spear struggled and Nye had the better game. Stop acting like every player that is solid has to come to UT. They have other options to look consider. Nobody inside the program ever followed Aaliyah Nye or interacted with her since she entered the portal like they did with other players.
As for Darby, her role will be to come off the bench player as a 3pt specialist. If you watch basketball and stop trying to be a comedian you will realize that UT offensive system never set up shooters to get open or come off of action to get good looks. Everything was catch and shoot.
Relying on Darby in critical moments to catch and shoot when she does not have the ability to dribble or create separation was an issue with the last staff.

The goal post stay getting moved around here I swear. We praise them and they are the best thing ever and clearly and upgrade to what we have here, when they are interested and when they go elsewhere or like Nye chooses to withdraw their name it's they weren't that good anyway, or we really didn't need them. Please make up y'all minds around here. Quit with all the wishy washy.

I see why players and their parents or handlers look at these boards to increase their players value and go elsewhere. We seem to be the board that breaks them down before even trying to build them up.

Nobody said that. There were people saying that who call for any and every player known to come to UT. Nye has two games in two seasons against UT were she scored 4 pts. I said if she came good, if not move forward.

It’s plenty of options for Coach Caldwell.
