The Big East is a wholly owned subsidiary of UConn. With both Villanova and Marquette decimated by portal defections, the conference will be lucky to get an at-large invitation besides UConn's automatic bid.

I feel like the main reason CKH was let go was due to philosophical differences between her and DW in how to pursue and leverage NIL.

Kellie the coach who would not let any recruit where the Jersey unless they committed and wanted players who wanted to be at Tennessee for the traditions rather than winning at all cost. It was probably Kelly's ethical values, standards and stances that ended up costing her job.
