Interesting tack by Cruz, portraying himself as the enemy of the RINOs, trying to have some of that MAGA magic rub off on him.

Arizona Senate candidate Ruben Gallego on Tuesday sought the intervention of the state’s Supreme Court to prevent the unsealing of his divorce records.

Lawyers for Gallego filed a motion to stay an appellate court decision that ordered the unsealing of the documents, arguing that "sensitive details about the Gallegos’ and their minor child’s life stand to be published if Free Beacon succeeds" and that the press and the public lose "nothing" by further delay, including a delay beyond the "upcoming general election."

Tuesday’s filing marks a last-bid effort by Gallego to keep his divorce records, which are treated as public documents for average Arizona citizens, under wraps.

The Arizona Supreme Court does not have to rule, and if it takes no action, the records become public. Should it deny the motion, the records also become public. The court could also order a brief delay to consider whether two courts got it wrong and whether the extraordinary privilege of keeping public records secret for politicians is one of the few cases the it chooses to hear each year.

Gallego, who is facing off against Republican Kari Lake for Arizona’s open Senate seat, filed for divorce in late 2016 when his wife, Kate Gallego, was on the verge of giving birth to their son. He did so in Yavapai County, more than 100 miles away from where the couple lived at the time, though Arizona law stipulates that citizens must file in the county in which they reside. He then succeeded in convincing a judge to seal the file, including its existence on the docket.

This clearly was a very winnable Senate seat for Republicans. They could have nominated a candidate who was strong on protecting the border, while also being less consumed with talking about rigged elections .... but instead, Republicans went with the candidate that Trump endorsed. It will cost them.

Yeah you're right. We know he's a rino because he aligned himself with the Tea Party.

The democrat he is running against has the left's juices flowing like Beto O'Rourke. You got'em this time.

Cruz is, by far, the most "politician" of any of them. He aligns himself in the moment with whomever he thinks has momentum, and drops them like dead weight the second he thinks it behooves him to do so. A close second is Lindsey Graham.

Don’t worry; we stopped considering McConell to be a „Republican“ a long time ago.
But we will be forever grateful to him for keeping little Toadie Garland off of the SCOTUS and for instead giving us three solid originalist justices. (And YOU can thank your own Harry Reid for making it all possible 😉)

Once Trump was kicked off did Cruz have himself appointed presidential candidate over his erstwhile boss he just stabbed in the back?
did Cruz lie to the public about how Trump ended up off the ballot, and how they came to power?

nothing Cruz has done comes ANYWHERE close to Harris taking over presidential campaign. Kamala has flipped on plenty of her stances. She had to come out and say she didn't think Biden was a racist. why? because thats what she had been implying the whole time. Is Kamala for or against fracking? Is she for or against taxing tips? Is Kamala for or against gun ownership? every single politician flip flops. not too many actively replace their boss after lying for them for years.

Much worse than any of those things.

Those two videos speak for themselves. Donald Trump personally attacked Ted Cruz's wife .... and although Cruz did stand up for her at the time, he now kisses Trump's butt as much as anyone.

What kind of man makes a shift like that? A man who is above all else, a spineless politician. That's who Ted Cruz is.

As an AZ resident, I'm not a fan of Kari. I voted against her in the primary. Now I'll be stuck holding my nose as I vote for her.
