That isn’t how that works. If there is money to be gotten they will get it. There was not the demand or the would have sold those tickets. Period.

They sold out the smaller arena and moved to the bigger one for a reason, they sold all 10k instantly and people was complaining about not being able to get tickets. Why not have all available if they’re selling all the tickets? I just felt sorry for the people that wanted to go. Oh and they did that without the media and networks promoting the game at all, or Reese coming closer to home, she wasn’t even on the promo flyers.

You don’t really believe that her own team is in so deep on a conspiracy against Angel that they would forfeit half their potential ticket income. Right? Why would the Sky do that? Sometimes it’s really not a vast conspiracy.

The Mystic are really hanging in again, tied with the liberty at halftime. Hope they can pull it out this time.

Best game of the day should be Seattle and Minnesota at 7 PM. Two of the best teams in the league. Go Jordy and Mercedes.

Start of a rough patch for the Sparks. They play the aces tonight, the aces coming off a loss and not playing well. Becky all hopping mad. Probably get well night for them tonight. Then the Sparks go on the road to play Seattle and Minnesota. Good thing they got that win against the wings the other night.

The Sky didn’t do it the Mystics did, just ask yourself if this was u and u sold out the smaller arena and they moved it to a bigger one and they capped it at 10k and they sold instantly, u wouldn’t wonder why they didn’t make more available but made all of them available for someone else? I knew something was fishy when they didn’t even have Reese on the promo flyer or a mention of a home coming game but they promoted Clark coming to town, that made no sense to me and plenty of others.

Ok why would the Mystics forfeit half their potential ticket sales? It still doesn’t make sense. No one dislikes Angel more than they like money.

Also, they absolutely promoted Angels homecoming. It was one of the dozen or so spots that run endlessly during games on League Pass.

Yeah no WNBA team is going to turn down the opportunity for revenue. If there was demand the tickets would have been sold.

Ok so why not make the tickets available, if not they shouldn’t have moved the game? Nobody is able to get an answer and I’m not saying they dislike her. But what’s the reason, I can understand if they didn’t sellout but they did?

Not sure but pretty safe guess making money was involved, not slighting poor Angel. It was a great crowd and good game.

Was a great crowd, I just felt bad for all the people that couldn’t get tickets, I saw them all on my timeline on twitter. Maybe next year they will open it up for them.

Brittney Griner is having herself a game today! Pretty impressive after being away injured for so long. I think this is only her second game back.

Speaking of Griner, has anyone else been as surprised as I've been that she has never really become an unstoppable player? When she was in college and soon to go into pro ball, I was SO sure that with a couple years to mature and learn the pro game that she'd become THE most dominating presence ever seen in the women's game.

But that never came true. Yes, she's often (like today) been really, really good. She's an all-star and an Olympian. Super player. But I was thinking she was going to be somehow ... well ... different.

Looking back, I have often thought the whole awful Barncastle incident may have scared her a bit, then maybe she matured emotionally a lot, and maybe came out the other side a little softer. Still a player who'll give most team fits, but she somehow seems less aggressively strong in the paint as I thought she would be.
