Reese tries to be sneaky when she fouls, looks up or away when she pushes someone from behind or slams them from behind. Look at the video where the flagrant was called, when she slams her arm across the back of CC’s head. Not an accident.

On 7-10 shooting, now the end of the third qtr. She's also guarded Howard alot and done it well. My worry now (because I must worry)is all the minutes she's rolling up in the first game of four in six days. But w Cam in foul trouble and Hamby having an off day, if he rests her the Sparks are doomed. And this is their best chance for a win.

Rickea is an amazing offensive player. Period.

Storm got spanked in Phoenix, they were behind big most of the game. Crowd booing Diggins big time.

Jordy had a good game though, 12 pts, 4 rebs, 5 steals! Played 33 mins, got ALL the mins Vivians and Joyner Holmes have been getting. Great game for her. Mercedes did not play at all today. Seattle played only their starters and Jordy, w basically Jordy playing w the other 4 starters the whole game. Only 6 mins for VV.

87-74 Dream. Exactly what I was afraid of. Had to rest Rickea at some point. She sat some in the 4 th qtr. and then never really got in the flow again. Only got 3 shots off the whole second half and one of those was a steal and score. One thing KJH did really well was use a minute or two right before time outs and qtr changeovers to give Rickea a little extra rest without disrupting her too much or keeping her out for crucial stretches. Curt needs to learn that. Also learn how to make sure she gets more dang touches.

Rickea and Cam both finished w 16 pts, Rickea on 7-13 shooting with 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and steal and 2 t.os. Cam shot 6-13. The rest of the Sparks were a combined 11-42. Hamby had by far her worst game of the season on 3-14. If not for the rookies this would have been a real blowout instead of just another loss.

Brink is just crippled by the foul issue. Not only does she sit large stretches of every game, when she's in she's practically paralyzed on D. Doesn't even try for blocks most of the time. Announcers said Brink has had 4 or more fouls in 11 of the Sparks 14 games. Brutal.

I thought Rickea played hard D with great effort on Howard. She also had 16 pts, but on 4-15 shooting and 1-7 fm 3. Unfortunately she hit a couple late that were daggers.

Going to be tough to keep focus the rest of this week I'm sure with being exhausted and playing three games against the best two teams in the league. We'll see how they do.

Completely agree. I’ve only watched the W sporadically prior to this year, and I have learned a lot from the folks who have watched consistently!

I love rivals. I love an underdog and players who are cocky that get humbled. Are you complaining because two viewers watched the second half?

She initially went for the ball and when she followed through she deliberately clobbered Clark. I’m not on the Clark bandwagon, but I’m sick of players like Thomas and Carter and Reese. I stopped watching NBA for the same reason.

It’s called taking the high road. Deflecting the attention away and letting Reese take care of herself. I’m sure you’ll post Reese’s postgame comment, like you said you call it like you see it. Wonder if she took the high road.

You do understand what “it is what, what it is” means don’t you?

I haven’t listened to this interview, but the ones I have watched, Caitlin Clark has been nothing short of gracious. She has not showed anger, she has not lowered herself to the level of those who would call her bitch, or go after her physically. She has tried to diffuse and calm the situation. I don’t know how she does it. Extremely mature, I have no doubt she is still giving gracious interviews, refusing to blame anyone for how they have treated her.

That taunting/intimidating Reese did to Caitlin, in her face, following her around even after the game was over, was what made me dislike her. Doubt I’m the only one.

I can tell you haven't watched the W for too long. If you did then you may notice how more physical the league is compared to WCBB. Watch for a while, there are many players that play like that. Maybe if she played on the Feaver CC may not be pushed around like she is now.
