The post was just about how Champions are respected and immortalized, I’m sure everyone agrees on that.Only one taking it personally is the one clipping Twitter clips for praise/validation, requesting respect more so than what is already given. Solid player on a 6-9 team, who’s having a good year. It was well intended post I’m sure
So Champions are respected, that’s all I e been saying all along. Champions are the ones that are immortalized in their sport.
Just says Champions only…no mention of respect or being immortalized. The post was just about how Champions are respected and immortalized, I’m sure everyone agrees on that.
If u go back and read it, I said the same thing. When u name all the great players they are Champions, u might have a different criteria than everyone else. Being the Most Outstanding Player will immortalized u as well. When people look up who won the Championship, they will want to know who lead them. Nobody looks at the player of the year if u never won.Just says Champions only…no mention of respect or being immortalized.
Many have won championships that aren’t respected, titles don’t give you respect. Demanding respect doesn’t give respect, begging for respect doesn’t give respect. Immortalized, it’s forever so there is that for the team not one player. POY could be deemed “immortal” for an individual. So no, not everyone agrees.
Just for reference to your last part. Who was last years college women’s POY? If I’m following your zig zag all over the place. If u go back and read it, I said the same thing. Sabrina is better so why not? Do you think Clark is the best player on Earth or something?
Clark V Reese can't be talked about without the ROY race,, where Rickea is beginning to make a pretty strong statement,,,,duhThis conversation has been about Clark versus Reese not the rest of the WNBA. There are lots of players who I would take over Clark or Reese in either scenario at this point in their careers.
Yikes lol. Easier to put up raw totals when you aren’t on a team with Stewie, JJ, etc. Sabrina is more efficient and pretty easily better at this pointClark is the better all round player of the two by far. She’s a rookie on a bad team with a bad coach and is putting up nearly the same numbers. Better rebounder, better passer and a proven clutch shooter.
You don’t like her, that’s fine. But it doesn’t discount that she’s the best PG to play women’s basketball so far. Bar none and it’s not close.
It’s not even debatable. She holds the records.

I love Rickea and believe she will be an elite pro but with Curt Miller at the helm, she is not getting enough minutes. The pattern is clear, RJ will have a great game and then get benched in the next for a defensive mistake or her PG not finding her. Then, he put in another ball hog to solve he problem. The LA Sparks are the Lord of the Flies.Clark V Reese can't be talked about without the ROY race,, where Rickea is beginning to make a pretty strong statement,,,,duh
Easier to put up any totals when you aren’t being doubled and blitzed every time you touch the ball. Clark has her own gravitational field out there. Not uncommon to see 5 defenders around her lol.
It’s kind of comical actually.
She broke every record Sabrina held in college in terms of 3 pointers. All time leading scorer and third all-time in assists. It’s just unheard of really.
If you’re going to compare Clark and SI you need to compare her to SIs rookie stats. Yes, she was coming off injury, but again, not the same. And she was on a much better team with better teammates than Clark.
Just the other night Clark should have had about 5 more assists but her teammates are still adjusting and can’t catch a pass. They will get there, but at the moment it’s embarrassing for them. Mitchell got hit in the hands at least 3 times and bobbled it out of bounds.
