Agree, and exactly why I say the Sparks roster is far from loaded. It's full of journeymen like Rae and Steph Talbot, questionable draftees that have struggled like Zia and Ari, and has beens or never was like Nurse, Clarendon, and Lexie Brown. No doubt, when ultimate role player Hamby is your star, you're in trouble. Throw in the starting center and starting pg's preseason injuries and now the loss of your highest draft pick, and this roster is um, not good.

But still, RJ has to adjust and contribute. Interested to see where she goes from here.

All true, Wilson's an amazing player. But opinions are weird, like with Clark, I just don't find her or the Aces very compelling to watch. I do like Jackie Young alot though.

I think the Aces would be more fun to watch if Plum were having a better time right now. She’s an electric and fun player to watch. Just hasn’t been herself with all the personal stuff she has happening off court. Understandably so.

Yeah I thought and said at the time that was dumb. But I also didn't know the full story of the suspension. And that's not a short leash like Miller has her on now, and it definitely didn't hurt RJ's game. She played some of her best games, esp of that year, coming off the bench early in the SEC season. There was never the threat of being pulled for every mistake throughout her time here like she's dealing with now. But this is the big time, gotta suck it up and deal with what's dealt you.

Talbot is excellent and has been around. She was flirting with a triple double the other night and only got those minutes due to Brown being out.

Nurse should not play at all nor should Clarendon. Layshia does bring a leadership component but I don’t even see that from Nurse.

Nurse’s inability or choice not to pass to open teammates is gross. Especially when you’re shooting is atrocious which it has been the entire time she’s been in the league.

Supposed to be a scoring guard but can’t score and can’t pass either. That’s not a player you want on your team.

Kea was flabbergasted,,,couldn't understand why Kellie wouldn't let her start,,,she had to jump through hoops to get Kellie to let her start

re Miller,,,he's won some games but never has won the big one,,,I don't think he ever will...The Sparks needs a "Bill Laimbeer" type to get it done

Kea wasn’t flabbergasted, she knew what happened and why she was suspended. That RJ wasn’t the same RJ that finished here.

Going to be 5-6 coaches out of a job in the W next season. They need to clean house in that way and put a better product on the floor.

I agree Curt isn't a good coach and could possibly be out of a job (unfortunately with the Brink injury and Stevens having yet to play, I think injury buys him some time)

Miller is too reliant on certain types of players in certain types of roles and that's what killed him in Connecticut, sometimes you just have to let a player play but it can't be at the detriment to everyone else. I believe he should be gone, just don't think it will happen this off-season, I could be wrong.

Imo his best lineup with what he has left should be;

PG-Ari
SG-Rae or Cooke (both play team defense where Nurse and Brown are liabilities)
SF-Kea
PF-Talbot
C-Hamby (I would move Hamby to PF once Egbo get up to speed)

Nurse, Brown, Claredon should not be the focus of that young team.

yes she knew why she was on a 2-game!!!! suspension
She however did not know why she was relegated to coming off the bench for 11 games beyond her suspension

Miller strikes me as the same personality as and Warlick and Harper,,,a Beta in charge of a group of Alpha's

It's true Angel draws eyes too, but not like this. Also true that other teams, like the Aces, are having the attendance success winning brings. But to deny the CC effect is just to live permanently on Planet Delulu.

Can u show me a game the league and sports shows promote for Angel Reese and the Sky besides the games against Indiana? I don’t care about numbers when one team is being pushed and the other isn’t. If anyone thinks the nonstop [to motion doesn’t help, I don’t know what to tell u.

The Sky gets promoted like a 6-9 team should.

I don't get the great appeal of either and their drama over other players I enjoy. So I'm not the one to ask.

Not sure you understand how business works. Indiana without CC doesn’t get the audience. Indiana with CC gets audience and stations get their money with advertisement. No goal post move, business 101. Truthfully they are promoted less being that they aren’t chasing titles. There is another level to reach…she’s not at MJ/Lebron/Ohtani level yet.

Clearly she knew and didn't complained and went out and balled out regardless. You just didn't know and it burns you up to not have that information doesn't it. Hopefully Coach Kim gives you the insight you definitely seeks in the time frame you desire or you'll be calling her a beta next off-season.

Ok u moved it, amd none of them are Ohtani or Mj. Mj is my favorite player of all time and Ohtani is on my Dodgers.

Moving the goal post as you said, was you injecting CC into a question about the Sky after I asked if. Don’t be upset with the answer, just ask better questions. Your original question was promoting of Sky, my stance was they are 6-9 overall and promotion is such. So again, business 101 they don’t move the media market share needle right now…if they somehow can get in the title hunt In sure that’ll change. Bit today, they are who they are. Maybe they can get Paige next year and get everything you hope.

Let’s see if Indiana can somehow get in the title hunt, they do have 2 All Stars on their roster and the most top 2 picks in the league on their roster. They won’t get Paige because of James Wade idiotic trade to get Marina Mabrey, but may they can find a way to get a Pg, but too many of these Pg’s coming out are small except for Paige.
