It really isn’t hilarious. Too many posters on here simply want to be right about their opinion. For me, supporting the growth of players and in collaboration with them determining what is best for them is my focus. The coaches determined what opportunities to offer Hurst. This is why you are not a coach. That fact that so many posters think a player is going to be fully committed to playing both basketball and volleyball during seasons that overlap in college is hilarious. It is not something that can happen. The most logical thought process for her is that she wants to keep a fall-back option available. She probably prefers one sport (I have heard basketball but that is not confirmed) but at the same time she knows that once she gets up there that she might be able to have more success at volleyball. If that becomes the case she wants the door to be open for her to do that if basketball does not go the way she hopes. That makes sense. This nonsense that she will be fully on both rosters, trying to attend every practice/workout/game for both sports in hilarious.
So what if you might not be a WNBA lock but you might be an Olympian in Volleyball. That would be a tough call. That fact that so many posters think a player is going to be fully committed to playing both basketball and volleyball during seasons that overlap in college is hilarious. Exactly. Plus, there are athletes that excel in a sport or two or three that practice is not as important for them as it is for other athletes. Deion Sanders comes to mind. Also, playing multiple sports prevents overuse injuries. There are other practical benefits as well.So what if you might not be a WNBA lock but you might be an Olympian in Volleyball. Cute

Well, again, it won’t happen next season regardless. She is signing basketball scholarship papers, which, per NCAA scholarship rules, means she cannot play volleyball next season.Hope your right, but there will be volleyball before basketball so suiting up would seem to be a strong possibility. I expect her to go to basketball fulltime, but won't go as far as to say she want suit up for volleyball since that will be the first option next season.
I would bet Boyd is PG1 next season. CKC is grooming her. Spearman should be the starting 5.What if this was our roster for next season!!!

Would we be a Final Four team in 2025-26 season???
Keeley Parks has KU in her final 3. Wonder if they have a real shot or will she choose one of her home state's schools - Oklahoma or Oklahoma State.Kansans love their home school. He has some nice players but I don’t think they’ll ever get going there. Nichols is a player I was sad we missed on a couple years ago.
So you're impressed by Boyd too, eh? She is actually the biggest surprise of this early season for me since, for some unknown reason, I'd gotten it into my head that she'd probably be a shrinking violet-type. Nope! She's really poised and solid and READY. What a delight!I would bet Boyd is PG1 next season. CKC is grooming her. Spearman should be the starting 5.
Given the way Kim substitutes, I'm not sure being a starter means all that much. Maybe 1'30". Ruby is stepping into the role of a go-to. Talaysia is already there. Next year will be more indicative of how Kim will utilize players as that team will be quicker and more suited to stress press than this years team. What if this was our roster for next season!!!
