Could make the argument that being a top 10 coach in the SEC translate to top 3-4 coach in the Big East given the competition drop off haha

Like he isn't taking OU to an elevated standing and I can only imagine the culture shock going from Chicago to Norman.

Depends on definition of "good". He's probably better than Boswell, but not someone I'd expect to be a major contributor without significant improvement. Averaged 10 and 4 for Temple as a sophomore, but also played 30 minutes/gm to get it. Doubt he gets those kind of minutes in the SEC.

Quante Berry I'm not in love with...

good size/length, but he really only has 1 year of production and it was his 3rd year in college. He went to Providence and redshirted, then last 2 years have been at Temple.

10.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.1 apg, 0.6 bpg, 1.3 spg and only shot 33.8% from deep and 69.7% FT

Maybe he's a really stout defender, being a Cleveland TN kid might be a less expensive addition as a depth piece though.


I like Jacari White, would be a 1 year option. Has improved his numbers ever year at NDSU and is a career 40% shooter from deep.

Also...not sure we have interest, but just saw Bryce Hopkins is in the portal.

Was out this year with an injury but has balled out at Providence when he has been healthy/played.

Although I’m not sure Freeman would start. Think he could be a great 6th man type his first year.
