Kids don’t always make the adjustment from being the best player on their teams their entire lives to working their way onto the court. I’m sure that both have been looking ahead and might not take being recruited over with a one-and-done all that well. I want to see those two as seniors.

I think they’ve earned the playing time. But they aren’t ready to take minutes from JJJ or SV, KC ended up playing a lot of 2 with the ZZ surprise, and Bailey improved his defense significantly while becoming selective with his shots. Unless he catches fire, I don’t expect either to give up many minutes to Powell.

Was Phillips a high priority target for TN before he selected to go to the dark side?

This i have no idea, I read we talked. to him the first time around and 247 listed that he visited so there was at least some interest on both sides. With what we know Wade was doing its hard to tell who he was and wasnt really into to begin with. It really may just come down to who can make room for him.

Final 4 with USCw, though it seemed to be believed they were a bit of a distant 4th, perhaps due to distance. FSU was down, this year, and it's probably fair to wonder how much longer Leonard Hamilton will coach (he'll be 74 in August). Others may get involved this time around, but you have to like the fact that we are already invested and have the groundwork laid.

While I like Bailey, he would be better off elsewhere next season. His defense has gotten better but his shooting is abysmal.

Huge fan of his shooting for though, not sure how he misses so many shots with a form like that

I know. But, if it means potentially loading up for the best shot at a national title in Tennessee history, I'd be okay if JM,QD, or Tamba or someone explored options elsewhere. It would be too good of an opportunity to pass up to have Kennedy and Julian Philips here next year.

Obviously, the chances of both of those things happening are low. But, a man can dream. Dreams are all that are keeping me positive after the loss.

Would need Bailey and one more to leave to take on BJ Edwards and Phillips. Fulk isn’t counting against the scholarship limit
I don’t think there’s a very good chance at all that Kennedy is here next year though
