I’m very curious as to what he shot on “open 3’s” over his career, being the guy for Indiana State he was forced into some tough/bad shots which surely lowered %.My personal hope is he comes in here and is pre injury Tyreke Key, because if he is he will be very hard to keep off the floor. If he is a 38% 3pt shooter or even near that he needs to be on the floor at the same time as Vescovi and JJJ as it will take a lot of attention off of them if he’s shooting well. I think he has the potential to be a very high impact transfer.
I assume they'd stop getting donations, the coaches would stop working with them, and somebody else would fill the void. That seems like a far fetched scenario and an easily solved one if it did arise
I very much agree. And with auburn being in it with Broome, I’ve been told BHH may not be a take bc they still need a guard. Definitely don’t want to see him thriving for another SEC team, but I do not believe he’s gonna find the 30 mpg situation he wants at auburn.I’ll be real surprised if Auburn lands Phillips & Traore and BHH is getting 30mpg
I mean regardless of your opinion of Uros, he played a lot. If Aidoo plays those same minutes and gives even a little bit more than Uros did, thats having an impact by any reasonable definition of the phrase
If Phillips doesn’t come unexpectedly on the market we probably push harder for a big in the transfer portal. Now we are caught with our pants down.1. If your most hyped returning player was BHH that’s likely a toughen.
2. Landing Collins & Key is hardly what I would consider a bust or being caught with our pants down. Phillips unexpectedly came back on the market, if we don’t land him ok, but that’s no different than where things were with HS recruiting a month ago.
