For those that follow recruiting more, it doesn’t seem like our success is having much effect on the 23 class. Honestly, it doesn’t concern me because of our culture and coaching, but should we more an uptick in talent in the 24 class ?

Most of those players will be signing within a month and the majority are already committed somewhere. This success will help more with the 24 and 25 classes, but 23 is still a very solid class

Its a little late for the 23 class. You still have to build relationships with these kids. Now 24 and 25 should be really interesting, especially since the NIL direction will supposedly be more aggressive.

Better strike while the iron is hot, IMO. THIS class needs an UPGRADE asap! 6th in the SEC is not where the #1 team in the country should land. Anything less than top 3 in the SEC come signing day is a huge disappointment. Sorry folks won't like it, but it is the truth. However... CJH and staff has achieved a #1 ranking with average SEC talent and depth, so... it may not matter. Why not make it easier on yourself?

We are the current favorite to land 5* DE Daevin Hobbs. If he commits, it gives us a little boost in the rankings. We don't have the big marquee names by the services (with the exception of Nico), but I really like this class of guys with this particular staff. There are some big framed, versatile bodies for the DL. Two long and athletic EDGE guys. Two sideline to sideline tackling machines at LB. An ultra athletic, pass catching TE and two grossly underrated WR prospects. One of those guys can also move into the backfield at RB. We also have a multitude of rangy, athletic DBs. I expect RB, OL, and DT to be addressed over the next month. There will also probably be a couple of big names surface right before signing day.

A little late in the game to make progress with guys already committed. Maybe some flip candidates for February signees once some coaching changes happen. But I would not expect too much.

I think where we'll likely to see a bigger interest is the transfer portal.

Most people are already committed or have a good idea of where they are going that are SEC level for class of 2023 by the time the Alabama game came around. The success will and has had major impacts on the 2024 and 2025 classes

I'd say we have as good a chance as anyone to have the #1 class in 2024. Just look at how many of those 5 stars we either lead or are right in the thick for.

I think it is critical for Tn to be at least a 10-2 next season. We want Tn to come back to be a perineal power house team., not just a one year wonder. We have the attention of the 24 and 25 class, but to build a sustainable future we need to demonstrate that it is going to be there in the future. 3 good recruiting seasons are necessary to build the kind of depth to be able to sustain the kind of quality we will need to “ be back”. To get those recruits you have to perform on the field over that span of time.
