They started in very different places too. And the SEC East hasn’t exactly been a juggernaut during Kirby’s tenure.

Rebuild? Dabo took over a team midway through the season that was preseason #9. Infighting and coach backstabbing, led by none other than Dabo himself, led to the demise of that season and Bowden’s fate. His only competition was Jimbo and FSU and 1/2 of his CFP appearances have come since Jimbo left. I’m not saying he hasn’t taken them to another level but his competition can’t be discounted.

I have the bad feeling UGA will take control soon. Too much pressure on Clemson’s young QB. I think they wear the Tigers down over the course of the game.

Let’s see if Clemson can make something of this recovery.
