3 Football players arrested

I'm just passing along what I've heard. I just have a little more faith in the story I've heard from individuals at the party and someone who actually plays football.

Individuals at a party. When I partied. I was too drunk to remember anything.

I believe they had just arrived as the police were coming by for the noise complaint and never actually started drinking.

Exactly. Problem players are problems early -- they don't just start up their senior year when they're getting ready to audition for the pros and the rest of the career.

But what baffles me is that a lot of people just can't accept what it is - a party that got busted up. It's like VN wants it to be worse than the very normal college kid stuff it is.

police report says AJ was arrested because he was trying to walk away. Far from shoving.

I'll take my 43 yr old common sense most of the time vs an eyewitness sober 3rd hand word of a college student at 2 am

My friend said AJ didn't have pot on him and kept arguing with cops. As did Obrian and sapp. That's after the police showed them the arrest warrant. I think that's where folk are getting the resisting arrest.

Yeah not a Marine or anything near it that's for sure. But yeah nothing will help keep themselves in check than after a punishment like that.

I guess it's a combo of a dad that went to a Military school and TX HS football.

He will learn even though coaches have been playing him in the wrong position the last 3 years. He's a natural pass rushing DE that has been put at LB.... chasing folks rather than just getting all over the QB....regardless, hope he learns from this experience with the law, he has an NFL career to look forward to.

How did they obtain an arrest warrant so fast? I thought they just showed up at a college party cause somebody was complaining about the noise.

I agree with this. This isn't Law and Order. Police don't just obtain search warrants in a matter of minutes, especially not for something like small amounts of marijuana. This search warrant would've taken at least a few hours to be approved by a judge, if one would approve at all. There's not much probable cause for marijuana when you are just playing loud music.

Tennessee beat just reported that they did have a arrest warrant.
