$3 Trillion Infrastructure and Jobs Plan Coming

I know it’s not completely his fault, but what is Mayor Pete doing to address the supply chain problems at the ports? Maybe instead of tying social justice and global warming ******** into his agenda, he actually addresses the issues that are causing the current crises.
I believe he requested incentives to the infrastructure bill for hiring lgbtq drivers

We need more drivers. Doesn’t matter who or what they sleep with.
Oh I know. They've elected a permanent now hiring sign outside our work campus. It replaced the temp banners they used in previous years

You clearly do not understand why ol Pete was hired then - else why wouldn't they have appointed someone who has even a tiny bit of experience in transportation or has run an organization with more resources than your average Mcdonalds location.

Debt to GDP ratio considered unstable/dangerous at around 77% ish, I was reading. Debt to GDP ratio is currently around 129% in the US. $3T. Hell, make it $10T and just get this thing over with in one fell swoop. I cannot believe any sane person or govt would buy any debt instruments from US to see the return destroyed entirely by self induced hyperinflation.

Grassroots activists and union groups are preparing to launch a flurry of protests later on Wednesday against Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz) — who they worry could single-handedly sink President Biden’s agenda.

“We’re committed to birddogging Kyrsten Sinema with her constituents until the very end,” Our Revolution Executive Director Joseph Geevarghese said in an interview. “What we want to show is that her constituents are very serious about wanting policies and activism and we're going to make her life unpleasant or uncomfortable until that happens.”

I hope they keep it up. And on Manchin too. Because all they’ll do is piss them off more!

You see this. While these leftists are fighting a war, the right is hoping to get justice in a rigged game in the courtrooms and the polling booth...

Democrats' clean energy program will likely be Cut from massive budget bill

(CNN)The Clean Electricity Performance Program, the cornerstone climate policy in Democrats' massive social safety net package, will likely be dropped from the final budget deal after pushback from Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, three congressional sources told CNN.

"He is not there on the CEPP period. We've been trying," one Democratic aide with knowledge of the negotiations told CNN. The aide told CNN that Democrats are trying to find ways to restructure the program to fit Manchin's concerns while still reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

"Whatever comes through will not be called the CEPP, but we're strongly hoping and thinking there will be ways to meet what he wants," the aide said, adding, "If there's a deal to be struck in the next few days, I don't think there's anything resembling CEPP in there."

Democrats had designed the program to give utilities federal grants to increase their share of electricity from clean sources and penalize those who fail to up their clean electricity.

Manchin has been critical of the concept from the beginning, saying it would pay utilities to do something they're already doing -- transition away from fossil fuels.

House Democrats: Amnesty for Illegal Aliens Hinges on Kamala Harris

A group of House Democrats is begging Vice President Kamala Harris, as the presiding officer of the United States Senate, to overrule the Senate Parliamentarian and include an amnesty for at least eight million illegal aliens in a filibuster-proof budget reconciliation package.

Twice, Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough has shot down the Democrats’ amnesty plans — one that would have given green cards to millions of illegal aliens and another that would have moved a registry date in federal statute to give amnesty to about seven million illegal aliens.

Since then, Senate Democrats have suggested they include a parole-style amnesty in their trillion-dollar budget reconciliation package that would effectively allow about 7.1 million illegal aliens to avoid being deported from the U.S.

A number of House Democrats are seemingly displeased with the parole-style amnesty, continuing to favor a more expansive amnesty that immediately delivers green cards to illegal aliens.

Democrats hope to ram through a massive social spending bill without any republican support then use these redistribution programs as a threat to American voters in 2022 to scare them into thinking Republicans will take it away. Truthfully I would but that is a voter turnout incentive.

One would hope that if you are trying to pass what you claim to be "transformational" legislation you would let the American people see the details prior to voting.

Look at it as the feds giving the people a gift. You don't tell somebody what's in the gift before they've opened it.
