From what I'm reading Jayapal trying to get progressives to vote for this latest proposal

When we here "fair share" does anyone else picture yourself talking to your buddies when you were young talking about pitching in for candy?

What does that mean? I think we know. Anything they want to try to make it. Like someone is going to be like "you know what, I think I got an additional 5% of my net earnings I had originally planned to save but since Joe Smo bought a new boat, bigger house, decided not to work, spent all their money on drugs and alcohol, needed some new clothes and jewerly, or just don't want to pay their own taxes, etc I'm going to pay more as my fair share".

When I hear fair share I picture a prostate exam

It's a talking point that has proven useful to way back when they first implemented the income tax by telling voters they would never have to pay...in reality even if you taxed billionaires at 100% you couldn't even pay off current student loans if you taxed millionaires at 100% you could maybe pay for cost of government for 6 months

Jayapal doesn't normally get included in the squad numbers, but she is one of many low hanging fruit of the democrat party. Another nutjob. Reminds me of Marv in Sin City.

So much for Meghan Markle's political influence! Duchess' controversial lobbyist letter pleading for paid family leave Fails To Make an Impact as Biden drops proposal from his $1.75T plan

Meghan Markle's attempts to influence Biden's $1.75 trillion infrastructure plan have fallen short, it was revealed on Thursday, as the President announced he has dropped paid leave for new parents from his bill, just days after the Duchess penned a lobbyist letter pleading for it to be made a 'national right'.

The 40-year-old mother-of-two sparked furious controversy earlier this month when she turned lobbyist by writing an open letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer advocating for paid family leave.

How much is my “fair share”?

Does this mean that secretary Bute edge edge has to repay his maternity, or was it paternity pay?

Manchin shatters Biden's hopes of passing his spending packages this week by saying he will NOT support the $1.75T before the infrastructure bill and until he 'knows the impact on inflation and the national debt'

Sen. Joe Manchin on Monday dashed President Biden's hope for a vote on his $1.75 trillion reconciliation package this week as he called on the House to vote for the bipartisan infrastructure bill on its own.

The West Virginia Democrat, whose centrist vote wields much power in the 50-50 Senate, put the breaks on the larger spending package, saying in a press conference he would not vote for it until he had 'greater clarity' on what its impact would be for inflation and the national debt.

An NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist National poll released Monday showed 44 percent of left-leaning voters want to replace the president at the top of the ticket in 2024, 36 percent want to keep him there as his landmark legislative agenda hangs on by a thread.

Meanwhile, Manchin said that 'shell games' and 'budget gimmicks' could make the real cost of the $1.75T bill almost twice that amount.

'This is a recipe for economic crisis,' he added.

Sounds like a potentially permanent no vote.
