$3 Trillion Infrastructure and Jobs Plan Coming

Bill Hagerty today on WTN 99.7FM in Nashville - We've only seen the details in the House bill. They are keeping the Senate bill secret at this point.

Democrats now Drop paid family and medical leave from social spending package despite it being a cornerstone of Biden's economic agenda

Congressional Democrats signaled Wednesday they would ditch plans for paid family and medical leave in an effort to trim costs and secure an elusive deal to push through a massive spending bill.

It marked the latest attempt to bridge the divide between liberals and moderates but would come at the cost of one of President Biden's key campaign pledges.

Wow...like those are even cornerstone of this monstrous package from hell. Those are company mandated laws anyways

It will likely be as poorly written as TCJA was back in 2017....
Hope so. I netted a few thousand bucks in my pocket from that one. But since they don’t even have the bill text or framework in the current reconciliation I don’t see how we can judge how poorly it’s written if it isn’t even written 🤷‍♂️

Typically, bills with tax provisions will have their drafts to the AICPA, Big 4 accounting firms, etc. for feedback to point out drafting errors, inadvertent omissions, etc. The authors of TCJA did not do that and they are still making technical corrections to this day.

The Dems will do the same thing here. Hastily push through a bill without the adequate time to review and analyze. When that happens, you get poorly written legislation.

Well that’s at least a start. Hopefully they can find more and more to scrap.

Based on the threats from AOC and crowd countered by Manchin and Sinema it doesn’t look like any word similar to “hasty” will apply… which is awesome. But sure I’m guessing they won’t ask for any competent review of their legislation either this far that hasn’t really seemed to be a desirement

Exclusive — Sen. Bill Hagerty: $3.5 Trillion Reconciliation Bill Includes ‘Carve-Out for the Big Tech Corporations Who Want an Unlimited Use of Foreign Workers’

Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) said on Tuesday the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill being pushed by Democrats includes a “carve-out” to provide “unlimited use of foreign workers” for Big Tech companies.

“This is typical of these giant, massive, Washington D.C. bills,” Hagerty said on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow. “This is a bill that we’ve dug through — over 2,500 pages, just to be clear — and buried and hidden inside that bill is a carve-out for corporations.”

He continued, “It allows unlimited green cards for 10 years. Corporations can bring people. Foreign workers can come to American soil, and what a green card does is [provide] permanent resident status.”

Both Hagerty and Blackburn are reliable conservatives making TN proud.

Mayor Pete will have to breastfeed at the office.

That headline feed in the news was immediately followed by the announcement of the "Billionaire Tax" to pay for the remaining package.

Gut feeling...scaled down deal gets approved today and Progressives fold, hold their noses, and agree to it. Biden and Dems claim huge victory but the core features they really wanted are gone 21 House Democrats Call For IRS Reporting Proposal To Be Scrapped

What you are witnessing is a stretch for job security. These bums get paid well for doing nothing, and get rich off the back door perks. They are beginning to see their cushy little gig slipping away in the mid-terms if they don't protect themselves.
