$3 Trillion Infrastructure and Jobs Plan Coming

If I understand correctly they disagree with the impact of increased IRS enforcement. Even if they are correct I don't believe the CBO scored the SALT provision which will significantly reduce revenue.
Not only did they not score the SALT provision, they are only allowed to score what is in the bill itself. The new program expenses were only factored for 3-4 years when we all know those programs would last forever. So they calculate 3-4 years of expenses versus 10 years of income and it was still upside down.

White House prepares massive infrastructure bill with universal pre-k, free community college, climate measures

Over 1/2 trillion dollars on climate spending. This is classic government.

1) They claim to be fixing something most people do not give two hoots about.
2) If we assume for the moment, something really does need to be done, everything proposed is worth about as much as the proverbial mammary glands on a male hog and will not fix anything.
3) A lot of what they want to do is based on trying to figure out how to restrict our rights.

5) this is also about control. Power to a ruling elite. "You need us to fly around on private jets to save your dumb rear ends."

I don’t think most people understand this, and the liberals sure as hell aren’t going to explain it to them. As usual, very poor messaging from the Republicans. They really can never get their act together.

Actually SALT is "revenue neutral" for scoring. The 10K cap that from TCJA expires in 2026. Any type of SALT cap after 2026 is actually a "revenue raiser" since it will generate more revenue than no cap.

So raising the cap to $80K will reduce revenue from 2022-25 however it will increase revenue from 26-31 based on how these things are scored over 10 yrs.

what a shock

House-Passed 'Build Back Better' Plan Aims To Curb Methane Emissions by Hiking Heating Prices

The new tax is aimed at curbing methane emissions and will apply fees to companies that produce, process, transmit or store oil and natural gas starting in 2023. The specific fees will depend on where the natural gas is produced and will vary depending on how much methane is released into the atmosphere during the process. Overall, the Congressional Budget Office estimates that the new "methane fee" will generate about $8 billion over the next 10 years.

Those industry groups claim that the new fee will translate into a 17 percent increase in household energy prices for homes that rely on natural gas heat.

Inflation is wanted by this regime....Where is BB? Who cares. The fact that these radicals don't understand the production, logistics and supply chain costs

DC should take a big hit; there's a lot of methane produced and dumped into the atmosphere right there.

'This is b******t': Manchin Snaps after Dems blame him for killing Biden's hopes of passing Build Back Better this year: Rebel Dem says he is victim of 'bad rumor' as Schumer Punts president's Flagship $1.75T to Next Year

  • Biden's hope for a Build Back Better bill for Christmas appear to be dashed
Rebel Democratic Senator Joe Manchin snapped on Wednesday after reports his opposition to the Child Tax Credit killed Joe Biden's hopes for the Senate to pass the president's signature Build Back Better bill by Christmas.

'This is b******t. You're b******t,' the West Virginia senator yelled at Arthur Delaney, a reporter for HuffPost Politics, who asked him about reports that the child tax credit has become a major sticking point in his talks with the White House.

'I'm done, I'm done,' Manchin fumed as the questions continued.

'Guys, I'm not negotiating with any of you all. You can ask all the questions you want. Guys, let me go,' he told the press as he walked through the basement of the Capitol, muttering 'God almighty' as he walked away.

Pro gas, pro coal, in a state heavy in production for both and has a huge amount of Trump supporters as his constituents.

In blow to Democrats, Senate parliamentarian Strikes immigration from Build Back Better

The Senate parliamentarian dealt a significant blow to Democrats seeking to pass a $1.85 trillion social welfare and green energy bill, ruling that the measure cannot include a provision that would legalize millions of workers now living illegally in the United States.

Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough told Democrats the legalization language extended too many rights to conform with special rules governing what can be included in the legislation, Majority Whip Richard Durbin, an Illinois Democrat, said Thursday.

The problem with the high SALT cap is that it allows liberal elected officials in states like California, New York, and New Jersey to appropriate federal tax dollars to pay for their socialist programs and development projects in their states. None of these state level politicians are members of the U.S. Congress. Therefore, they should have no ability whatsoever to spend federal taxpayer dollars.

I dont disagree. Was just making a factual observation showing how Congress will use budget games to make it revenue neutral.

Who would have ever thought that the parliamentarian would be the biggest road block so far in Biden's presidency thus far.
