Nice read. Kinda makes me think back to a twitter post Cooper wrote:

That and being known to some people as just Cade's brother...can tell he has a bit of chip on his shoulder about proving himself. So it doesn't surprise me he wants to do things his own way and that it meant something to him when they came to recruit him. To focus on him.

Well written article. Also says alot about Pruitt/staff and Cooper. Let's face it, we WANT players who have the fortitude to not care what anyone else thinks, and just "does their own thing". We've got a good one...and in a position of NEED! Anyone else think that after maybe this weekend's visitors, and seeing alot of other players come off the board that we'll start making our climb? We're "in" on alot of players, and maybe the commitment today was to give us a little momentum going into the weekend!

I’ll put this in the I don’t want to live in big brothers shadow category.

That’s not a shot at the man it’s just a feeling I get from reading about it

You can imagine how much he has lived exactly that while growing up behind him. Hope he stays angry @ it for 3-4 years!!!

Three thoughts:

1. Excellent get! Good size, lots of room on the frame to grow, and you can't beat the bloodline.

2. I get the feeling this was a desire to strike out on his own coupled with his dad's connection to Tennessee coupled with the fact we have an actual football coach now.

3. I wonder the over/under on the number of days it will take before one of our resident uga fans lets us know he was not a priority, he was too small, they didn't recruit him that hard, but they are sure he will 'be a good addition to our team' or some other smart$%% passive aggressive backhanded compliment. I say 2.

As to point 3: putting “smart ass” and “UGA fan” together is redundant.
