I don't care how many they have committed or have projected to come to UGA as a OL. You can't have too many great lineman and Cooper will be one! He didn't even visit UGA or anywhere else, officially, according to Rivals. Once Pruitt got Cooper past his akwardness and convinced him all would be forgotten about Cade. Cooper was UT's to lose, period! Yeah, UGA fans didn't want Chaney either. Let's see how their new OC does compared to Chaney in the future!!! I am putting my money on Chaney!!!!!!! =)

Dude, you have NO CLASS. Cade is a great player. You don't start as a freshman at UGA on their OL with all the talent they have because daddy played ball!!! If you don't have anything nice to say about a teenager who made some mistakes like we all did as teenagers, get off this board and go get across from Cade to get your azz pancaked over and over again!!!

The way their roster appears he won't be a starter until his senior year or an injury occurs.

He played in 11 games, started 7, and played 75% of their offensive snaps according to his UGA bio on Google. From this, i doubt playing time will be his issue barring injury, in my opinion.

Well, that's all well and good, however it appears they do legit have bigger fish (ratings wise) on their board. It doesn't matter though, I think Cooper is going to be a great player. I've been arguing with nimrods who were holding Cade against him for months. Agree on Cheney.

We got lucky in this case. I've in the past mentioned that the ugliness found within the UT fanbase is going to and probably already has at times, cost us good recruits. Of course, I got laughed and snickered at. That guy who went to Oklahoma 2 or so years back brought this up along with the clearing house vetting process. He's played very well there but you can bet he'd recommend recruits who ask, that they stay as far from the UT as possible. But the uglies among our fanbase will never learn how to stop what they do.

True. I just like to think of our fans being of better quality than others. I suppose I suffer from believing something I was once told: "You were born with wings. Why prefer to crawl through life?" And then besotted with ignorance presumed to apply that to others. Someday, I hope to grow out of such folly.

He started due to an injury and was placed behind other players once they returned. The guy playing in front of him this year will be there until Cade's senior year, barring injury or leaving early.
