40-41 year old Millenials

Many of these folks have mental health issues. Others are attempting to medicate physical and/or psychological pain.
I'm not sure tough love is the best approach.

Did we not have mental illness back in the day?

Sorry, I know I've expressed my feelings about this before but I think the explosion in mental illness is just am excuse for bad behavior. Yes I know there are people with serious mental health issues but it seems like now we have become "aware" and "sensitive" to the issue everyone has a mental illness. I'm betting 3/4 of my wife's friends are on an anti-depressant or similar.

I've seen monkeys flinging poo with more coherent thoughts.

Donjo want a peanut?
You're just like some of the crowd in here. Anytime you can't defend your positions you resort to insults. Same crowd every single time.

Yeah. I understand. There is a wide range of conditions which fall under mental illness.

I am talking more about the severe stuff. It was different back then. It was kept behind closed doors in homes or asylums.

Other than reopening the state asylums I don't know what to do about the severe cases. Outpatient care doesn't seem to be working.

I don't either. No one has a good idea. It sucks, too because when on their meds they're ok. But when they're ok they don't think they need their meds.

They get trapped in drug addiction easily.

You can thank the CCP for allowing their Fentanyl factories to stay open and flood our streets. They know what they are doing..reverse Opium Wars.

I haven't been in a casino except to see a show in years, just don't have the urge. But if people want to gamble it should be legal.

Agreed. Gambling, prostitution, and drugs should be legal. So should firearms of all types in all 50 states and all cities for law abiding citizens. Hell, those noise monitoring sensors they put up in cities are catching double the full auto fire they used to catch. Laws for morality don't work, and never will.

We lived by a casino in Louisiana only went there for concerts and the buffet lol 😂 we are too cheap to gamble, but some people have serious problems.. but, it’s not my problem lol.. Fun fact: you can also write off your gambling losses in Louisiana on your taxes which was one of many bizarre experiences 😂
