Many of these folks have mental health issues. Others are attempting to medicate physical and/or psychological pain.
I'm not sure tough love is the best approach.
Yeah. I understand. There is a wide range of conditions which fall under mental illness.Did we not have mental illness back in the day?
Sorry, I know I've expressed my feelings about this before but I think the explosion in mental illness is just am excuse for bad behavior. Yes I know there are people with serious mental health issues but it seems like now we have become "aware" and "sensitive" to the issue everyone has a mental illness. I'm betting 3/4 of my wife's friends are on an anti-depressant or similar.

I am talking more about the severe stuff. It was different back then. It was kept behind closed doors in homes or asylums.
I don't either. No one has a good idea. It sucks, too because when on their meds they're ok. But when they're ok they don't think they need their meds.Other than reopening the state asylums I don't know what to do about the severe cases. Outpatient care doesn't seem to be working.
I haven't been in a casino except to see a show in years, just don't have the urge. But if people want to gamble it should be legal.
We lived by a casino in Louisiana only went there for concerts and the buffet lolI haven't been in a casino except to see a show in years, just don't have the urge. But if people want to gamble it should be legal.
Is that a fact?Donald Trump, as dumb as he is, at least tried to do what he said he was going to do.
