We're dreaming with the first two, two others would be lateral moves--to a school facing sanctions. And Marshall? Could be a good coach, but is not that young and hasn't got Wichita state in the dance yet--two straight nit appearances.

I want Griffith to PROVE he didn't just make that list up on his own. I don't see anyone connected with the search actually putting this out there. It can only hurt, NEVER help a search.

Who is the "source in the school’s athletic department"? That could be anyone!

I looked up Crean's salary, we are not going to beat the 1.7 he is getting by much, so doubtful he is even sniffing.

The KNS list is what Hammy/Cheek want people to think/know. I'd be willing to bet good money that our hire is not on this list. Marshall is the only realistic candidate. Thing is the pressure is on to get someone very good and very quick, and thats a tall order since some of our top tier guys are still coaching at least through the weekend.

I agree. If Griff supplied the information, you can bet that none of those coaches are being considered. I would not be unhappy with any of the five--all possible upgrades, especially in the integrity dept.

Agreed.

Also, he wouldn't leave Indiana in the middle of restoring their program to a high level after the Sampson debacle to start over at another school with very similar problems.
