Wrong. Biggest reason is because a lot of our fanbase feels a sense of entitlement. How bout going just to be with fellow fans and support players on our football team?

I agree with you, but winning is first and foremost, having a winning team will always fill seats.

It's about damn time people quit their *****ing about the state of things, get on board and support this team, staff, university, etc, etc. I freaking hate everything 'Bama' with every fiber in my being, but there's no doubt, everyone damn one of those taterdiggers come out yelling RT. We HAVE GOT TO GET PASSIONATE AGAIN, like that, or we could just become Ole Sis and show up for the pre-game party. I'm going and bringing my boy, he'll be eligible for a DT in about 9 years, so I want him to see what he's gonna be playing on one day. So **** OFF all the negavols, leave our ship, go sink someone else's but let's show up and support this staff until it's time not to...hint, right now ain't that time. GBO!!!

Jones wants 70-80,000 fans at orange and white game
Per interview on 104.5 The Zone

That would be awesome

Then he needs to recruit some talented players that would be interesting to watch. Wasn't there 60,000 or so when Condridge was a freshman quarterback?

You are correct. There never are as many there as it is told. Actually since Alabama has only 9 undisputed championships while claiming 15. :neener2:

We have never claimed 15 'undisputed' titles. Several of ours are shared and we acknowledge that in our media guide.

If there's one thing that is for sure...Butch is trying hard and really wants this to be a successful endeavor. I admire that and respect his efforts.

All true Vol fans need to be there if possible! It's time to support this team to RISE TO THE TOP! 102,000 +. This will say something to the 2014 recruits! Go Vols!!!!!!!!

I haven't missed many O&W games in the last 20 or so years, it hasn't always been exciting but all have been fun to hang out with other Vol fans and meet some of the players and coaches. Peyton's senior year and the year after the NC were awesome, a lot of fans and excitement. It would be great to see that again this year. I heard that CBJ has invited/requested all former Vols to show up and be a part of it.

Alabama was starving for a winner, then hired NCAA championship coach Nick Saban.

Tennessee was starving for a winner, then hired.................. Big East Co championship coach Butch Jones...

Yeah, that will fill the stadium.

The hire is what it is, but please stop expecting the fans to just burst with excitement about it.
