8.30.20 Powerful FoxNews night programming...

Donna Brazile tries to act like she is objective but she is a hack. I still think Fox should've hired her for even handedness but let's not forget she was passing Hillary Clinton questions against Bernie Sanders.
She also told RNC Chairwoman Rona McDaniel to "go to hell," not once, but two or three times on the air. AND.....she didn't get fired.

Greg Gutfeld had five persistent criticisms of Barack Obama from 2009-2017, and they were all legitimate:

1) Obama played golf and took vacations on a regular basis. Even in times of crisis, such as the H1N1 pandemic, Obama couldn't skip his rounds of golf.
All presidents should be encouraged to play golf and vacation as much as possible. When they’re playing golf, they’re not in the White House screwing s*** up. If GWB had stayed on his ranch and disappeared, the world would be a much better place.

2) Obama implemented public policy, not by way of bi-partisan legislation passed through Congress, but instead by circumventing Congress through the use of executive orders.
We’re moving in a dangerous direction with this type of unconstitutional power. This is contributing to a cult of personality as evidenced by people quoting such creepy phrases as “my president” or he’s “your president”.

3) Obama was a deficit spender, who never addressed the debt.
I don’t foresee any president addressing the national debt anytime soon. It’s arguably the biggest issue the country faces. The fact that no politician will tackle it shows how screwed up our priorities are.
4) Obama signed too many pardons, effectively circumventing our system of justice.

Our justice system is a sham. If we had an honest president, he wouldn’t have time to do anything but sign pardons.
5) Obama was racially divisive, particularly on social issues. He took sides.
Divide and conquer. The same people will still be in charge.

Every single one of these criticisms can also be applied to Trump... but they never have been by anyone at Fox News. They have effectively been ignored.
Who cares what Fox says. CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and FOX are not credible sources of information. They gave that up over 2 decades ago, assuming one believes they ever had it.

On what channel?
Pretty sure it was on Fox. I was listening on Sirius XM radio when I was on my way back from our Florida house. It was probably late Spring this year, at a guess. I can't remember what McDaniel said to piss her off, but she said "you go to hell, Rona McDaniel, you go to hell." I will see if it's on youtube.

At least Fox has people with opposing views. Who are the ones on CNN and MSNBC?
Chris Cuomo has a right winger on to debate almost nightly. Don't know about other times. I do know two of MSNBC hosts are long time Republicans who worked in the W Bush administration. For news, I generally watch BBC or PBS news hour. Used to love Crossfire on CNN but there aren't any shows like that anymore

Long time Republicans that worked in the W. Bush White House hate Trump as much as Maddow does.

Check out Harris Faulkner's Outnumbered during the weekdays on FoxNews for news and diverse opinions. She is a minority host without the being a drone. It is very refreshing and I believe a baseline for the type of journalism/ reporting that is needed.

These networks appear to have gotten most of their on air talent from defunct National Enquirer, Globe, or Weekly World News. Think about it. Those types have gone somewhere since that format has been greatly reduced.

Yeah, I like her show although she does pander to Trump

I think it's her background. Dad military I believe. Most of us were raised to like America if we are a certain age.

It's GenY, millennials that are raised socialists and hate and view America as racists.

Do you realize how dumb this post sounds? Probably not

You basically suggested anyone who doesn't pander to Trump hates America. That's next level dumb

I didn't say that or that's not what I meant. As far as Harris she tends to see the good especially with law and order, military, and probably leans conservative but the good characteristic of a journalist is it's hard to tell. That's Harris.

It's absolutely what you suggested. You responded to a post about pandering to Trump by saying she was raised to love America

I actually took the short route with the post.

Just saying it is easy to see Trump loves America whether you agree or disagree with his decisions. There are certain character traits the people are raised with that makes them respect that even if they don't like the person. Others take their professional position and responsibilities as a joke. Their actions in "regular" jobs like most of us have would get them fired. There is a lost respect for the office. There is a lost respect for law enforcement. There is a lost respect for one another. There is a lost respect to think America is great.

Trump is an opportunist and if he can sell that he loves America then some are going to buy it. Of course his recent money printing and favor granting to people that are not like most of us should tell you that. His decisions are actually what tell me he didn't really care about the America you describe. You're simply a means to an end and he's pretty good at marketing

Isn't it entirely possible that John Kasich simply doesn't like Donald Trump's behavior? You are trying to assign a personal agenda to Kasich, when it really would have been easier for him to take the Lindsey Graham approach, and campaign for someone that he doesn't like just because they are in his party.
Or maybe he’s just a gutless poon

Who do you suggest based on the options?
