I can just as easily argue that it's stupid to have to pull for Vandy in week 1 against South Carolina to benefit Tennessee.

Tennessee has been down but it makes our program look pathetic when we have a rooting interest in the first game of the season. Vanderbilt and South Carolina no less...

Tennessee should rebuild on their own merit. Not depend on Vanderbilt beating South Carolina in week 1. Gross.

I've seen this act over and over again. Heard the same pitch from coach after coach. It's the same old Vandy.

The only difference between this Vandy and the last 20 years of Vandy is that now they have a carnival barker for a coach and the media think's it's a great story.
