Come on. The Boosters didn't stop Charlie Strong. If Harttruly went rogue then they would have removed him after the first hire attempt. Haslam used his plane to go to Louisville. That doesn't seem like he was upset.

I think it's possible that Hart didn't want to be pushed into a hire--any hire--by boosters. However, I'm not sure I believe that he would not have wanted to hire Gruden if Gruden wanted the job. If that is true, that Hart should be fired. I don't think Gruden is interested in a college guy and working for anybody but himself. Booster don't make hires--that's the issue here. They can be excited about a guy, but that doesn't mean we will get him. And all this "deal done" BS became very stupid and ultimately embarrassing for the program. It's one thing to say, I talked to a booster and he and others are keen to get Gruden. Fine. But to spout all this "deal done" BS--that was a problem.

I would like to thank the OG's for sharing information they brought here. As I said the other day, this is not their fault. We all had the choice to believe or not..called free will. This was / is a power struggle...between Hart and boosters. Hart doesn't care about UT and he will answer for that. Playing the blame game at the OG's will not change the state of where UT is at this time. If that helps little people feel better about themselves, I know they(OG) can handle what comes at them. A lot more at play here that we will never know details about. Cheek and Hart are the problem and this is what should be focused on not I told you so.

I would like to apologize to myself for listening to the OG's from like the middle of Oct to last week. Last week it became evident to me the OG's were either clueless or trolls. Only they know which one it truly is. Btw, I'm a VFL, so it's time to support coach Jones!

FWIW, I've talked to a couple of media guys that are saying the same thing. I heard Hart did everything he could to keep Gruden away from here. Boosters had it done.

No your info was not 100% legit because Jon Gruden wasn't announced as our head coach. After your sources were wrong you want to come on here and give more "inside info" as to what happened. I serioulsy cannot believe that the boosters stopped every hire but then couldn't stop the Butch Jones hiring.
