I disagree. I had my reservations and expressed them and was never attacked or ridiculed. They put the info out and if anyone feels butt hurt it's their own fault. I was hoping for Jon Gruden but fully expected UT to screw it up. When UT decides to get serious about a winning program that'll win again. The formula is there for the taking, just have to look little south and a little west.

Personally I loved following the Ogs. It was fun. It was crazy to think our university was going to make the homerun hire they said they would make. Boosters at Bama took matters into their own hands and now they are only probably going to win back to back titles. We got butch jones. Thanks dave hart. Nice sac fly hire. We hired a guy that couldn't beat a guy we just gave 5 million to leave. Home run hire!!!!

The boosters are boosters because they love this place. The others just collect a paycheck.

And don't ask me for a link as%&%*- because I don't need one. UT just practically blew the last 18 million to it's name.

It will soon need more State Funding .

Gruden may or may not have been a real candidate to be our coach. But the thought of a coach with Tennessee ties, with national appeal, with a superb record, and the ability to turn the program around instantaneously was apparently too good to be true.

Jones may, or may not, be the answer to all of UT's football woes. But he certainly is not the type of hire that both inspires our fan base and puts fear into our rivals.
