And I’m sure he can’t wait for next year when CBS picks up the Big 10 and he won’t have to put up with us rubes anymore and he can stay north of the Mason-Dixon. Good riddance as far as I’m concerned. There are far better color analysts out there.Don't "hate" him. Bit much. Strong dislike for his style which is usually self elevating. I mean folks he is big tenner. He is a graduate of Purdue. Last time eye cked that was in beeg 10. But I ain't gonna hate on him. My wife asks why I mute him. States the obvious and well that's enough. His stadium statements are laughable for sure.
Don’t have to listen to him after this year unless you want to watch Big 10 games.Danielson is a Big 10 homer at heart. Always has been always will be. Once you've integrated that into a few of your brain cells most all of his comments, slants, and biases he produces begin to come clear. LOL course to him there's nothing special about Neyland, it's just a stadium with a football field within it. I'm sick of Big 10 people being assigned and making their daily bread on the backs of SEC schools and their athletes. It's like the SEC cannot produce pundits and commentators so they must have to go to Yankee land to get talent. $#@& 'em!
LOL
All he is saying is that all stadiums have volume problems for visiting teams. Its something I've seen many times at other venues. Auburn 1990 was one of the loudest, maybe the loudest as it is hard to prove, as any game I've ever attended. I've been to LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Florida. lots of places and it is LOUD. Affects the play of visiting teams and I've seen Tennessee impacted many times by crowds on the road. Even Vanderbilt in 1982 was loud enough to be a factor. Example is the false start penalties Tennessee had at Florida this year, crowd made an impact.
that's all he is saying.
Now how good a team is always determines if the home crowd is going to be loud and into the game or not. If your team is crappy, then fans are not as likely to be an influence on the game. Its all relative.
