This is one of the most ridiculous threads I've ever seen.
UF has some of the best weight training facilities in the country, and the locker room and stadium are fine. The only real complaint from boosters recently is that they WANT to build an indoor practice facility, because the FANS think it's important, but Foley hasn't wanted to move on it, because frankly, he doesn't think it's that important.
Gator Speed & Strength - GatorZone.com -
here is a link to the Griffin-Oakley Strength and Conditioning complex. It really is one of the better weight and conditioning training facilities in the country, and UF is always spending money on the newest tech and stuff in there. Uf spends tons of money on this stuff, and to assume they are way behind is ridiculous.
Regarding the recruiting class - UF is in on so many high profile recruits that won't commit until later in the year that it is ridiculous. Barring an epic collapse by the team this year, UF is going to get both CeCe Jefferson AND Byron Cowart (they are both on campus ALL THE TIME). If the offense has a pulse, the flips on offense are going to be ridiculous. No one is rooting harder for a gator collapse than Clemson, because if UF has an offense, they'll probably flip Ray Ray McCloud at a minimum, and maybe Cain as well. UF is in great position for Jeff Holland and Martez Ivey. Ivey has pretty much come out and said he is just waiting to see what the offense looks like. They're going to also land Tevon Coney soon, and they are in good shape for a number of good OL prospects. It wouldn't shock anyone if Roquan Smith, Joquan Johnson, and Dexter Williams (1,2, or all 3) ended up in this class.
If UF wins 8 or more games and the offense isn't a complete disaster, they will have a top 5 class, and if you can't see that, then you don't follow recruiting very closely. Even if they lose Muschamp, UF will probably still finish in the top 15.
Also to say that FSU and Miami being good dooms Florida is ridiculous. All three have been very good at times since the 80's. Every now and then, one of those 3 takes it's turn as top dog, but of the 3, Miami is in the most danger of becoming irrelevant. Definitely not Florida.
