That's just it though. I truly believe they are all just playing a role. They're saying what the masses want to hear. I don't believe anyone in politics really cares about abortion.

It is a fitting analogy since they both are deriving the pleasures of an experience without fulfilling the evolutionary imperatives that necessitated the pleasure experiences in the first place.

I'm not sure the "abortion is murder!" crowd has fully considered the implications of our current American society and culture in which abortion became completely, absolutely illegal in all circumstances.

It sounds great and feels nice to virtue signal but most of them probably would not like the consequences of banning abortions completely. You think we have poverty issues now? Oh, and instead of your taxes helping her with occasional birth control, they're now helping her raise 6 kids for decades while she works minimum wage, if at all.

Be careful what you wish for.

It's not really that you made a false assumption. You didn't understand the nuance of my position, and that happens regularly here. The problem is that you consistently pass pretty harsh judgement on others, which isn't very Christian. :good!:

I know this much, every one that gets a vote about the abortion of the life at hand...is already alive. They already got to go full term and become a person. Why doesn't the baby get a vote? Hundreds of thousands of couples want to adopt in the US right now

Nobody I know thinks a girl that has been raped should be forced to carry the baby of some violent criminal...but that almost never, ever happens. Thats a straw man the left uses to justify killing unborn humans at record pace as a means of birth control for irresponsible people
Don't spread your legs.

Guys..don't put your penis in a girl unless you are fully prepared to support a child

Don't kill babies because you dont want your sin to come to light when you have to carry a baby full term and put it up for adoption.
