Abortion

I am not a Doctor, but I'm pretty sure Cancer doesnt have a heart beat, a head, arms and legs at 6 weeks old

I'm pretty sure it isn't guaranteed a fertilized egg will either.

Given the advances in recent technology, you can take any cell in the human body with DNA and 6 weeks later have a heartbeat, head, arms, and legs. Think about that next time you pick your nose or bite your nails.

ding, ding, ding

so you want to make laws around the Bible so people have to answer for their choices twice? Why force someone to answer to man if you truly believe they will be held accountable by god?

sorry, just working with the level of the responses, I guess I should have just hit and ran

pretty sure I posted a detailed account of why I believe what I do. Maybe you can explain what I should have done differently so your benevolent god doesn't condemn me to burn for all eternity

I said that I wish it was not legal. If you want to blame me if it is ever repealed, OK.

Particularly since the Bible ends on this note:

Let the wicked still act wickedly, and the filthy still be filthy. The righteous must still do right, and the holy still be holy.

Revelations 22:11

Legislating any type of Biblical morality would not be "letting the wicked still act wickedly".

What else do you expect from a guy that believes Jesus had the authority to go around "forgiving" people of sins as though he was the party chiefly involved and without the bother of consulting with the affected parties of the sinner?

It shouldn't be surprising people will have close-minded...ehem, sorry..."confident"...views on such matters.

where did I say that abortion was an unpardonable sin?

The difference is, its not up to us to make that choice.
