For shizzles and gigizzles it appears the UK is an original source of the "Kenyan - conspiracy" and that this move by Obama create some concern about the US/UK relationship.

Churchill has less happy connotations for Mr Obama than those American politicians who celebrate his wartime leadership. It was during Churchill's second premiership that Britain suppressed Kenya's Mau Mau rebellion. Among Kenyans allegedly tortured by the colonial regime included one Hussein Onyango Obama, the President's grandfather.

and as for the silliness that Obama had nothing to do with it and was unaware of it

and finally - it's a bit ironic that the apology from the WH has the sin of omission by not acknowledging the real story of how it was returned. That is unless the Brits are lying about it...

Hey man, direct your insanity at the British officials; they're the ones who are directly quoted as saying the President returned it.

The British press is the group that first floated the Kenyan connection. Don't know if it's true but it's as or more plausible than the oft made accusation that W went to Iraq because they tried to kill his daddy.
