A good weekend for the Vols. Solid win against an SEC team and you had Ole Miss and Oregon lose so there are 2 less 1 win teams. Perfection would have been Texas beating TCU.

But still concerned. Doesn't look like TCU is going to lose now. My fear of the northeastern sportswriters starts coming up ant time there are 2 Big 10 teams ahead of us. Could see Michigan losing by a point at Columbus and them keeping Michigan ahead of us. (Anyone remember Woodson winning the Heisman.) You know the "committee" looks at the polls.

It has been many times. It is SEC football. It is their defenses job to stop them. Those kids go to work every single day to compete. They should be allowed to play and run the same system not taking knees

Well at least we are talking about these guys. Most of the time they get no respect from the announcers bs.ing about crap that is totally unrelated to the game they are. supposed to be calling. Good coaches dont develope players by telling their subs not to embarass their opponents when they finally get to play. They work for and earn their spots on the roster just like everyone else.

Illinois lost against Purdue. Ruined any chance Michigan had of a SOS argument if they lose to Ohio State (it's in Columbus and after losing last year OSU will he motivated)

That certainly helps with Michigan. But I think we still need to pull for Ohio State to win by a decent margin. I would not want to leave it to politics and SEC fatigue if that is a close game. There will still be a drumbeat to put both OSU and Michigan in the playoff if it’s a close game. Count on it.

Michigan has to get through IL also. I anticipate Bilema having the Illini ready to play next weekend after losing to Purdue yesterday.

I agree, classless, need the style points, can't stop us, need to prove that loss to #3 in the country doesn't deserve a 5th place spot. I really don't care what everyone else things. Need to win out, let Ohio and Michigan screw each other and get back in the CFP picture.

Running it up? LOL. When Heup subs he subs everyone. So, that was all 2nd team players moving the ball at will.

I seem to recall teams running it up on UT. Meyer, Saban, even Missou. Screw them. No one had a minute of pity on us when we were down. Despite not being a threat, I can’t remember playing one game where anyone took us lightly. We always get their A game, even when we stunk out loud.

Run it up? You ain’t seen nothing yet.

You want to punish Missouri that just because they decided to keep the coach they hired. And give him an extension because they wanted to do that with their money? I fail to understand why this bothers you so much. I don't mind painting 70 points on them, but am confused as to your motivation for doing so.

Now me, I hope we are thrice as good in 2023 and post 70+ on everybody, but 89pts on Bama, Ga, and Fla. My motivation is I like our Vols beating the excretion out of everybody, and giving them a terracotta pot of petunias just for stepping out on the field.

Uh, where did I say it bothered me? I'm glad they're happy with a coach we can consistently hang 60 on. I would be bothered if I was a Mizzou fan though.

Your post implies the opposite, and is rather explicit. All one has to do is read it But that's OK, one can also see you were throwing cold water at them and their girlfriends.
