Active Shooter Killed At Nashville School

That's where a one month waiting period would be beneficial. There would be time to fact check and the person would have time to regain their senses.
When one is as mentally ill, crazy, insane or whatever you want to call it ….. to open fire on innocent children… I don’t think they’re capable of ever regaining their senses….

Whelp - Tranny Terror. Called it on the button but seems I was wrong on the woman part. Seems it was a woman who was trying to become a man. Shooting up a church and school is a bad way to go about it.

But now that we we know it was a tranny who had a manifesto likely against Christians, this story will die off from MSM in 3.......2.......1......

Female mass shooters are rare in the U.S.

Just 6 of 58 school shooters since 2012 have been female.

Zero correlation between homicide rates and gun laws. Gun laws aren’t your answer.

In this case, a better option would’ve been treating this delusional schizophrenic who thought they were a woman, instead of encouraging them
I'm all for keeping guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. If none of these people had access to guns, I would gladly get rid of most of our other regulations and restrictions..........
But I can't even get people to comment on this.....
What say ye?

About Mental Health.
How common are mental illnesses?
Mental illnesses are among the most common health conditions in the United States.

  • More than 50% will be diagnosed with a mental illness or disorder at some point in their lifetime.3
  • 1 in 5 Americans will experience a mental illness in a given year.4
  • 1 in 5 children, either currently or at some point during their life, have had a seriously debilitating mental illness.5
  • 1 in 25 Americans lives with a serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression.6
Are you saying we should get the guns out of the hands of these people? We may have found one more thing on which we agree.

I posted earlier that apparently only 3 of 138 mass solutions in the US from 1984-present were carried out by females.

Is it worth asking questions about why this particular person went berserk?

This. There’s already a perfect example in this very thread, @K-town Vol Fan doesnt want to discuss the shooter’s identity/mental state/motives. Focus on the guns instead.

WTF do you want commented on? If you are diagnosed with a mental illness you shouldn't be allowed to purchase a firearm, what else needs to be said?

Many on here have said for a long time that gender dysphoria is a mental illness. Is it time we classify this as such?
It was classified as such, once upon a time.. we had ‘transexuals’ in the 90s on the adult psych unit.. and we always had to block off a separate area for them.. the female psych patients did not want to share a room or bathroom with them because they thought they would be molested because it’s a man and many of them had been abused, and the men the same thing because they didn’t want to be accused of anything.. it was always a big to-do../ but in all fairness those patients (we only got three in five years I was there).. all had various personality disorders in addition to that.. Borderline, Histrionic personality, Bipolar, etc

No, the biggest concern (along with grief for those affected) is figuring out how we can prevent this from happening again. Before we start cranking sex hormones into to the 50,000 newly-diagnosed kids, don't you think we should consider the possible side effects, and if they could have played a role in this tragedy? Are you aware of any side effects of testosterone?
Sandy Hook happened 11 years ago. This is not preventable at this point. It is going to keep happening, it's just a matter of how many kids die before police get there.

You guys can't have it both ways. You cannot say the Second Amendment is absolute then carve out an exception for gay or transgender people.

If she was making threats or something similar I agree she should not have had access to weapons. But straight people - same thing.

And I think we've gotten to the point where, to buy or possess certain types of weapons, the burden should be on the person seeking possession to show they are stable and sane and not a threat, as opposed to on the government to detect and act on some random post or blog entry, or some comment at the grocery, to evaluate someone.

Mental Health is so ignored and stigmatized that it is a national tragedy.
