Active Shooter Killed At Nashville School

Thanks for another post reinforcing the fact we have a people problem and not a gun problem. Prior to 1934 fully automatic weapons were legal and not regulated and we didn't have mass shootings (outside of gang related).
We have both. Life is never so easy as to say 'the issue is only this one...'. Perfectly reasonable, I'll leave the constitutional debates to the scholars, to expect there to be no sales/transfer of guns without complete background checks. Also, redouble efforts to make sure the database(s) against which the background is checked are as complete as possible. I also believe an Assault Weapons Ban or at least stringent requirements would help.

So you have no suggestions for eliminating schools as soft targets. You just want to infringe on other Americans' constitutional rights, which wouldn't solve the problem.

I know we have your full support to make sure the voter role database(s) are up to date as possible in every state.

Media Twists Itself Into Knots Covering Transgender School Shooter

Corporate media outlets have stumbled around the name and pronouns of a shooter who killed three schoolchildren and three adults Monday after the public learned that the killer was transgender.

Police identified Audrey Hale, a 28-year-old woman who used male pronouns and identified as transgender, as the person behind the shooting, but initial reports referred to Hale as a woman. Mainstream outlets had initially called Hale a woman in their headlines, stories and tweets; rather than referring to the killer by preferred pronouns, some outlets are avoiding references to gender altogether. CNN edited an article after publication Monday to remove the word “woman,” but the updated article made no mention of the shooter’s transgender identity.

The New York Times corrected the record on Twitter after publishing an article soon after the shooting illustrating how rare mass shootings by females were.

It is pretty interesting though, nobody knows what they are supposed to say.. which is the conundrum that presents itself to these situations.. it’s not okay if regular people don’t know what to say, he/she/they/them/ze, but it’s perfectly okay for them to bumble around, but we better have our stuff correct lol.. just say she, it’s the obvious thing and what people should go with.. Talk of the Town or whatever that dumb show is, went with they/them today

So your interpretation is that 'shall not be infringed' means there will be no regulations? No limits to the type and lethality of weapon? Search up scholarly articles on the topic and you won't find that so clear cut.
Kentucky Long Rifle was the most lethal weapon of war in its day - and in wide circulation.

Winchester Repeating Rifle was the most lethal rifle in its day - and in wide circulation.

Lethality was never a constraint. There are no constraints.
