He hadn't done shiite before Vandy, and a few more wins than normal is not a qualification for UT.

Strong is leagues better than Franklin and isn't a Pricht. What's more is Franklin's comment about assistant coaches wives tells me he's worse than Kiffin, and the kind of guy I'd like to knock the funk out.

If we got Franklin, then he couldn't do his little cute "anchor down" hand signals after the 3rd quarter anymore and have the ESPN sideline reporter do little stories on all his gimmicky schemes he created to get his players to "buy in". Nah, that's mid-major stuff right there and would NOT fit in at UT. I can't see him leaving. He likes playing the part of the ugly step-sister that is Vandy.

I live in Raleigh and Franklin's name is talked about for the NC State job, even among my Wolfpack friends.

Thank God that we don't want Franklin and that the feeling is mutual.

During the UT/Vandy game, the commentators were talking about Franklins pitch to recruits, something along the lines of ... "Why would you want to go to other schools and "rent" a legacy, when you can come to Vandy, and make your own?"

If Franklin leaves Vandy to go to a school that has already had big success, he's a hypocrite and a liar.

This coach has won at Vandy. He is recruiting at Vandy! He is hated in Knoxville because he has Vandy going up and UT is going down. He would be a good coach.
