It'll be the most talented team Pearl has had. If the point guard play is better than I expect, this team will win the SEC and be in a position to match last year's tournament run.

"You" can be used as a collective pronoun as it was here. Im not sensitive, I just dont understand the need to call us "Tiger High" when a large number of the students at your beloved health science center are from the U of Memphis.

I believe you quoted my sigular post therefore the 'you' would be directed at a singular person and not as a collective pronoun. Lots of schools have endearing nicknames similar to "tiger high" Our counterpart this weekend is USCe, USCjr, and or USClite. Has no reflection on the future doctors, pharmacists etc that have attended another institution.

MT, our talent level is pretty similar between both schools, and Bruce IS the better bench coach. Without Cal to change Pastner's diapers he hasn't shown much in the coaching dept. This year is a year that could prove to put a lil fire under CJP's seat if UM fails as epically as I think they will. 6 or more conference losses coupled with a poor OOC record = CJP earning his first grey hairs this season. He has the pieces, but the jury is still out on if he can fit the puzzle together.

Its really not fair to judge Pastners ability as a bench coach quite yet. Cal left him with only 7 scholarship players last year and the rest of the depth were local walkons. I thought Josh did a great job with what he had to work with. This season however, he has plenty of talent and depth. Bruce does a fine job coaching during the game no doubt.

FYI, Pastner got all of his game coaching ideas from his mentor Lute Olsen, not Calipari. Josh offered Cal a plethora of recruiting talent and Cal gave him a job as an assistant because of it.

You didn't understand his point. He'll be able to put up better numbers in ConfUSA than he would in SEC. That's only natural. Rose would still be the player he is had he gone to UT/UF/UK, but his numbers might have taken a hit due to the level of competition being higher.

I understand your point. However, some of the best games that those two guys put up were against the toughest of opposition.
