It was a faux paux not to tip the waitress but she probably would've squanderd it on drugs or booze since all service industry people are drug and alcohol abusers, except the waitstaff at the chain Itallian place in Green Hills Mall who all seem to be teetotaling David Lipscomb students. I'd call it a wash.

I watched the end of the game at my in-laws house (who by the way have no interest in sports whatsoever). Had I been at home, there is no telling what I would have done or how much trouble I would have gotten in with the wife. To avoid making a fool of myself, I just went for a long drive to calm down.

This is easily one of the funniest threads I've ever stumbled upon. It's only funny because the reactions were all pretty much the same.......except for the bucket of light bulbs.

I ran over to the front door and yelled out "GO BIG ORANGE" at the top of my lungs for everyone in my neighborhood to hear......Then I came back inside, saw what happened, and proceeded over to my gun safe.

She was fine. Service and food was great. I just forgot. Since I was up and down at the TV so much watching the post game show. I made a mistake....it happens. Im sure others dont make mistakes so please continue.

Red Robin is a terrible anyway! Do youself a favor and dont go back unless you just want to tip that waitress and leave!

Mistakes happen. I think it was just the way it was presented as "needless to say.... waitress didnt get a tip" like it was a foregone conclusion that since you were upset you were going to make everyone else around you miserable as well, ultimately effecting the livelihood of a waitress doing what she can to make an honest living in this poor economy. If I was you, Id go in there again and make it up to her for your mistake. I payed my way through college in the service industry, I know what its like...

Sure did. I did not leave a tip. I paid with a card and forgot. Now my wife may have left cash....and looking back on it she probably did. I have not heard her go off on me for it (She was a coffee shop manager), so I can only assume she did. Ill ask tonight and get back with you all.
