Jones and Dooley's records and experience are quite a bit different. I'm not going to bash anybody before they have even coached their first game and you think you know so much you can bash them all?

I think the VFL thing needs to be retired, because I see a lot of people in this thread who beat their chests and scream "VFL" turn around bash a former Vol all because he didn't do what they wanted.

VFL = complete bullcrap.

You can continue to not bash him, that's your opinion and you have the right to express it. I am just here to tell you that you are dead wrong if you think he is the guy that will turn this around.

Yeah, because you have to be psychic to recognize a bad head coach, just like all those people that said Dooley would be awful from day one. Just a whole bunch of psychics.

Yeah, looking for that splash post. I haven't consistently told anyone that would listen that I think Jones is **** or anything. You guys are on a roll today. You all must have listened extra hard in reading comprehension class.

It certainly happens at big law and accounting firms, and sometimes with young doctors. If you count travel as work time, it's easier to understand how you get to 80. Regardless, you could adjust the numbers however you like, and it just affects the margins. If I understand you, I think we both agree about the main point.

Just exactly what is it that you recognize about CBJ's coaching ability that we are missing? Please enlighten us.

He's a mediocre coach from a mediocre team in a mediocre conference. It's not that hard.

Forgive me if "better than Dooley" isn't enough for me.

dude is a consumate whiner and posts with a loser mentality. His goal is to vent negativity to make him feel better, then he can come back and remind people he was right in a year or two.

I also think it's funny that Sparty calls out my negativity when I have been a staunch supporter of Cuonzo Martin, even through the bad losses and awful (at times) play.

So you'll take less than or equal to Dooley? Im kidding there but Hell yeah I'll take "better than Dooley". Given CBJs resume I'd say he's a helluva lot better than Dooley regardless of where coached previously. Some damn good SEC coached have come from lesser than conferences over the year.
