its not your opinion. It's your attitude. It always sucks. Nobody knows what is going to happen. Betting that he wont turn around this mess in the best conference against the best coaches with recruiting limitations isn't a stretch. Guaranteeing it like you are all knowing is a joke. Something a kid would say.

Martin turned a team around before he got here. Jones followed in the footsteps on one of the best coaches in America and didn't even hold serve

Yeah, and that hatred turned out to be well founded.

And I also gave Pearl credit when he did a damn fine job coaching the Elite Eight team. I don't have to like somebody to recognize a job well done.

Edit: Actually, in keeping with my prior statement, he did okay at Central Michigan. Cincinnati got markedly worse.

You are going to fail at whatever you attempt in life with your bs attitude, but I'm sure you are already finding that out.

My attitude in life is fine, my favorite college football program has been at death's door for about 10 years now and I continue to be pissed off about it. Worst part is, the AD and admin are the culprits.

With that said, I think it is funny how you talk all your **** then pretend you know anything about me. Look at it this way, you say stupid **** on this board, and I call you out for what you say on this board. That doesn't mean I actually know anything about you. In other words, that line of attack is dumber than hell.

Right on all counts, except that 6 years ago we had back-to-back 10 win seasons. And the AD and string of presidents responisble for Phil-to-Lane-to-Derrick are all gone.

Okay, actually you didn't get any of that right.

Phil was losing control as far back as 2005 when he managed to take a preseason top 3 team and lose 6 games, then he had the other losing season that got him canned a few years later. The two years before 2005 were back to back 10 win years, that would be 9 and 10 years ago, not 6. Cheek sucks and we all know it. Hart pretty much just picked up where Hammy left off.

If I really wanted to press the issue, I could mention how he managed to get the snot kicked out of him by Auburn and beat Kentucky and Vandy by a grand total of 11 points that year as well. In fairness to Phil, the team he took into 2005 had no business being so highly rated. That said, they had no business being the giant pile of crap they turned into either.
