I am very disappointed in some of you so call Vol fans. To call Ainge out shows you are not a true Vol Fan. So GTFO!!! Stand behind this team. Truth is most of you never never spend money supporting UT sports but yet come in here and say hire Gruden. And you guys are the same one who will be voting for Obama. Idiots all that needs the be said.

non sequitur much?

Unless they are winning, then the bandwagon fans will come back.

Our first two games next year are Austin Peay and Western Kentucky. There might be 50k in the stands if Dooley is brought back.

After we get curb stomped by Oregon and then get beaten by UF yet again, then there might be 45k in the stands for South Alabama.

The UGA game might be a sellout, but only because half the stadium will be filled with red.

Well, he has only lost to the teams he ws suppose to except for the KY game last year.

0-5 in the sec again and struggle to beat sun belt teams. And you think next season he will lead us into the swamp, Tuscaloosa, or Eugene and pull out a victory? Wake up bro.

Ainge is the only NFL player that ever went on the Injured Reserve list with a paper cut from carrying a clip board on the sidelines.

There are a few thousand people in the history of the world that have taken a snap in an NFL game and he is one of them. Don't think we are in a position to ridicule that.

Seeing as how Ainge is a former player and make no doubts about it he DOES get inside information from several sources associated with the AD I'm sure he probably knows a little more than the rest of you.....Maybe not everything but I'll take his word over most.

You have no clue what you're talking about. Did you see the 40,000 empty seats in neyland Saturday? Imagine what attendance would look like if Dooley came back next season. Too much money would be lost. Dooley is done.

I was watching the game Sat and couldn't help but think that those 62,000 (or so) who were there are the true Vol fans. Thick and thin. Just MHO.

Erik Ainge is the equivalent of one of us with NFL Practice Squad experience.

:salute:

Yep...that and the 3500 yards he threw for his senior year...that's all that separates us... 4 year starting QB's rarely get the same access to info and donors that we middle aged, arm chair fans get. Yep...

Because its the truth he is not coming. DD will be HC at UT in 2013. We will have new DC. Mark it down

God I hope your wrong. If your right you can forget about Tennessee and quality football ever going together again. This recruiting class is already a joke and prolonging the instability will prevent us from getting any good recruits until he is replaced. With his previous classes panning out to be overrated this will hurt us for at least the next 5-6 years while all these Bama, Fla, Lsu, Uga, Usc rejects filter out. Then when they are finally gone it will take another couple of seasons to get the good kids experienced enough to teach the younger players the system and give them tips and hints to help them get better.
Keeping Dooley in 2013 will sink this program. We'd be bringing in a backhoe to dig the hole deeper because obviously rock bottom isn't far enough down for the AD. Not to mention all the money lost and only getting negative attention everytime we lose will make it nearly impossible to make UT relevant ever again.

Well, I guess with this statement, you will be rooting for somebody other than TN next year.

I personally will be sitting in neyland with my wife as usual Saturday, however the idea that there are "fair weather " Tennessee fans is funny at this point. I think the bandwagon fans hopped on another by now LOL. I understand your opinion, however don't blame others for a.) Not spending the large amounts of money for such poor play and disappointing leadership, or b.) Voicing their displeasure with the current situation. Poor attendance will go hand in hand with Dooley, its just a fact.

No, they were the clowns that got dirt prices on tickets. The "true fans" do more than drop 40 bucks a year on a game and come on a board beating their damn chest about it.

Ainge said it was the same person who told him there was a chance. Gruden is not coming and never will.
