So Cam Newton can transfer and get another shot. And Nick Marshall can transfer and get another shot. And all the other coaches out there who have done stupid things can get another shot....but not CBP. Let me tell you something....if we don't hire him someone will. And it could be in the SEC. You want him kicking our ass while we spend another 3-4 years trying to figure out how to get out of another crappy situation or do you want him leading our program back to respectability? This country is ALL ABOUT 2nd chances. They should apply to EVERYONE....and that includes CBP.

Well there's an example. I'd say adultery, cover up, abusing the hiring process, leaving a team in the middle of the night, meeting with other schools while they still have a coach, etc all fall under MUCH worse than what CBP did. And this clown got his job back and a raise.

I would say both Ramar Smith and Bobby Maze were both serviceable PGs. Got us within one point of Final Four.

If you re-hire a coach that YOU fired, you look like an idiot. If you rehire a coach that you fired because the guy you hired after him sucks, you look like a desperate idiot. We would be the laughing stock!

No smart ass I wasn't. I was ready for Dooley to go though. The problem is we can run another mid-major "up and comer" in here and hope like heck that he is the answer.....OR we can go with proven entity. This is a UNIQUE situation....not something that happens every year at different places. People may throw us under the bus....but that's fine by me as long as our basketball bus is running over them during the season. I am sick of having talent and not being able to win with it. There aren't options out there better than Bruce that are AVAILABLE. IF we were to hire him...and IF he were to win again....you would be cheering with the rest of us.
