Ainge's BBB

Contending for national titles hahahaa...

He did get us closer than anyone else, a number one ranking as well. Cant get championships without getting to sweet sixteen first(x2) and then elite eight(x1) and he did that, too..

They keep bringing up Howland, a coach who has a lifetime winning percentage about equal to Martins. If you are not going to upgrade then why bother changing coaches. Howland could't recruit the same city his university was in so what does that say?

He has 3 Final Fours, including losing in the championship game, and 10 trips to the NCAAT with 3 different teams, plus the year he was fired, UCLA went 25-9 and lost in the first round of the NCAAT.

If you don't think that's an upgrade, you've gone full retard.

I would prefer to win it all instead of having a coach who folds in big games.

That's what I'm saying. CCM has the job right now, like it or not. If/when he is fired then by all means, voice your opinions to the admins to bring in Bruce.

I hope the vols win the SEC and NCAA tourny this year. If they do...CBP will be somewhere else "fo sho".

But if we loose 1-2 more home games...i doubt we'll even make the NCAA. And if that's the case, why should CBP take Alabama or Georgia to the NCAA in '14-15 and not UT? Riddle me that.

Hart's got his job cut out for him this year. Butch is doing him right...but his rep may be on the line after this year. "We may be a football state, but we're a Bruce Pearl city." - Ainge.

Bruce was just on sports animal. Wishful thinking maybe but he just sounded like he would love to be back at Tennessee. Didn't say anything in particular to make me think that but you can tell he loves it here. I would love to have him back as the HC. He made a mistake and has paid for it dearly.

BBB makes me think of big blue nation. Kentucky uses that on twitter a lot. Can we change it to BBP? Lol

The thought of having CBFPN back here at UT makes my jammies jump.

What Pearl does is generate excitement. I turn off ESPN when he's on there because he is so enthusiastic and I miss that too much.

We scored 19 in the half against FL and they immediately cut to Bruce talking about Pat Summit at the half. I nearly seized out....you can't score 19 in a half and then show Bruce. It's inhumane.

Man, you are way off. Way, way off. Howland is directly responsible for guys like Aaron Afflalo, Darren Collison, Jordan Farmar, Lorenzo Mata, Josh Shipp, Russell Westbrook, Jerime Anderson, Jrue Holiday, Kevin Love, Jordan Adams, and Shabazz Muhammed. All but the last three are from Cali, and the majority being from the LA area. Three straight Final Fours and routine top-10 classes suggest he did something right. If you wouldn't take him, then you are a glutton for average basketball.

Chris that was the reason given that he was let go. If he was all that great he would still be at UCLA. There was an article not long back posted on here. He did good to start out and then recruiting apparently fell off. Check it out.

Howlands problems are with big money people. Same reason John Brady was blown out at LSU after his success. Athletic directors don't like stubborn personalities unless they gurantee you championship success like Saban does. Seeing as many perceive Howland as capped sucess why deal witha difficult personality. I personally wouldn't mind him but id prefer Bruce because I feel with Pearls second chance he would retire here. Howland would leave us if succeeded here.
