Air fresheners are illegal in Minnesota

How did it become normal for every police shooting to bring ruinous rioting?

By now, it’s a ritual of contemporary American life — a police-involved shooting followed by a riot.

How did it become normal for every police shooting to bring ruinous rioting?

New York Yankees' Aaron Hicks to miss Monday's game in wake of police
shooting

DUNEDIN, Fla. -- New York Yankees centerfielder Aaron Hicks took himself out of the lineup for Monday's series opener between the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays at TD Ballpark in the wake of the unrest in Minneapolis after the police shooting of Daunte Wright on Sunday night

"With all that's going on in Minneapolis, he's having a tough time right now," Boone said. "Had a conversation in my office and he just felt like it was best to not be in the starting lineup tonight. And I certainly support that and we'll and try to rally around him the best we can. Obviously, the situation is heartbreaking right now in Minneapolis. And I think it has hit Aaron particularly hard."

Hicks was the Twins' first-round draft pick in 2008 and was the franchise's top minor league prospect before making his debut in 2013. The Twins traded Hicks to the Yankees in 2015 for backup catcher John Ryan Murphy.

Yanks' Hicks to sit out in wake of police shooting

Lol just looking for a reason to sit and get paid. Typical democrat

Not every police shooting, only those where the cop kills a black person. I don’t recall any riots over the killing of Ashli Babbitt or the other countless whites people killed by cops.

The more dims pander to them and race bait the more emboldened and lawless they become. Not sure when we peaked as country but we’re on the backside of our better years now.

No question about that. The dems are close to having what they have always wanted....Venezuela

Basic cultural geography, obviously.

Northeast is considered "the north," populated by yankees. MN, WI and the like are midwestern states with bigger differences from yankees than southerners.

Live in Ohio and West Virginia and you are just wrong.

The northeast is the north. The midwest is the north. Two different cultures but both are the north.

Yankees are yankees.

They're illegal in Illinois also. The Police use air fresheners as probable cause to think the driver has been smoking marijuana or has marijuana in the car.
Anyone that rides a motorcycle appreciates that law, or not.

Air freshener alone is not worthy of getting shot from behind. Once you start wielding(Wheelding) a deadly weapon, the approach changes.

Man, 28, is Killed and his 22-year-old brother is Arrested after 111 MPH chase and Shootout with cops which left three Georgia officers Wounded

One suspect was killed, another was wounded, and three law enforcement officers were injured after an exchange of gunfire during a police chase in Georgia on Monday morning, authorities said.

The incident began with a TRAFFIC STOP on Interstate 20, but quickly escalated into a high-speed pursuit involving officers from at least four departments, as a passenger fired on chasing police cruisers.

Aaron Jajuan Shelton (above), 22, of Birmingham, Alabama, was taken into custody by law enforcement officials in Carroll County, Georgia on Monday. His older brother, Pier Alexander Shelton, 28, also of Birmingham, was shot and killed by police at the scene early on Monday morning

A Georgia State Patrol trooper stationed near Villa Rica, about 50 miles west of Atlanta, noticed a Nissan sedan that was clocked at 111 mph.

The trooper pulled the Nissan over to the side of the road and approached the vehicle.

But the car immediately sped off, sparking a pursuit.

What no protests or riots for this one ?

Daunte Wright shooting: Brooklyn Center city manager fired after call for due process for police officer

Wow ..... dude gets fired calling for due process for an individual, including the police, in America under the law.
Lunatic Democrats that run cities think this country is part of China already. Piss all over the Constitution much?
Insane. The fact of the matter is that these people get what they deserve. Local police are a local matter. These people in Dem-run cities elect the same people again and again but expect different results. Lol! Why should the rest of us give a **** about their problems?

"these people". Nice

No one is shrugging it off

Exactly.

The problem is the effort to collectivize these incidents as though the fact that the person ultimately injured is black means they are the same situation. Absolutely not.

For example, putting a knee on someone's neck for 9 minutes is far different than in the heat of the moment firing a gun thinking its a taser. One has plenty of time to reflect on what he's doing. The other is reacting in seconds to an evolving situation.

The fact that both men are black is literally the only similarity. But the anti cop element of the left wants to ignore those differences simply to promote the agenda that policing is racist.

I'm not naive. There are certainly common elements in SOME cases. But if the distinctions that are meaningful aren't drawn, then that tends to minimize the occasions when it really does matter.

I've never understood this line of thinking. If you don't give a **** about other folks' problems, why go out of your way to comment that you don't give a ****?
