I would guess that Herbert will end up a positive in the recruitment of Hicks.

I would think both schools would want him to take his visits and make the right choice.

LWSVol, Assuming that he will see a game during both his visits and that they will not be too far apart... I'd rather him see UT second. The Ducks will obviously try to get him to commit and cancel... just like UT would... but he'll probably follow through. Seems like he's managed his recruitment down to two teams and will make an informed choice.

Im wondering if his delay might not cause us to move on and focus on some other guys.

we are concerned today on the follow through part. By this weekend, may not be as concerned but that is all part of recrutiing. Its the main thing that makes coaches bald and gray.. :dance2:

I've not been able to get names, but there are "others" in our pipeline of interest to us. We may go as many as 4 Juco's anyway, so I've heard.

Could it be that the rumor about Hicks was a case of mistaken identity?

Could someone have said "There's big news about a JUCO DT coming out this weekend" that caused the rumor mill to assume it was Hicks?

Hicks' recruitment has been very confusing, up and down, and indecisive rumors to this point... and that is what makes us all follow recruiting.

anything could have happened but I feel "real certain" that on Saturday our staff had a real good feeling it was about to happen. Over the next 24 hours, things changed and that feeling is not there that something is imminent. It was Hicks no mistaken identity

We are def getting a visit from him and the staff is attempting to set it up so that he is on campus with our other jc commits.

He just got an offer from LSU and sounded pretty excited about it.

exactly, when you have 2 years to audition for the league, you need to see the field asap
