Akiem Hicks

LOL, my bad. We will lose to UCLA to start the year. Then an un-named major contributor will get injured against UAB and we will lose to UF. Alabama will beat us by 1 more point than last year, UGA and Auburn will stomp us and KY will finally break the streak. We will go
5 and 6 like 2005, all of our current verbals will renig and we will have the worst recruiting class of all time thus resulting in us having to play walk-ons across the entire DL.

Pretty close gainer for a June prediction :good!:

crap how many DTs do they need?:banghead2:

This year, we need a lot, actually. We lose Charles Alexander and Marlon Favorite. Francois has been hurt all season, and Drake Nevis has less-than-stellar this season. Al Woods hasn't played very well. Past them, it's a bunch of kids who have had no playing time.

I'd look for Hicks to come in and contribute immediately and likely be at least the 3rd or 4th DT with a chance to start as a SR (if he doesn't beat out Nevis in 2009).

Sorry for the LSU fan post on here. I did a search of Hicks on Google, and this thread is the first result that popped up, LOL.

Bad performance from some doesn't mean you need more DTs, it means you need to develop them so they can play better.

According to Rivals.com, Akiem Hicks (6′6, 295, 4.8) out of Sacramento Community College committed to LSU on Sunday evening. The 4-star defensive tackle’s verbal pledge came as a pleasant surprise for coach Les Miles after such a heart-breaking Saturday afternoon.
