There's literally no position on the field that an elite recruit couldn't see himself coming in and playing right away.
And why would an elite recruit want to play for a team that hasn't been to a conference title game in 11 years and hasn't won one in 20? Don't say playing time either because the elite ones will find their way on the field anywhere

Playing time is a factor but the most important thing is for a player to buy in to a coach and believe he can turn it around. It also helps that CJP has been honest with guys and letting them know this year is going to be a tough one (for his standards).

You think recruits are going to buy into a coach whose team gets embarrassed on every nationally televised game they play this year? Because that's what's going to happen this year. Outside of Vandy and Kentucky they won't even be in contention of winning any significant games, and if they can't get some studs in this class next year won't be any different, and I'm not talking about guys that will be decent players in 1-2 years. We need guys that can come on right away and help us win ball games. Because if they don't start winning soon no one other than instate fans will want to play there because Georgia is about to be where Clemson is. Florida is about to be a lot better, so will Miami, Ole Miss, FSU, Virginia Tech, and Texas A&M. Basically all of our recruiting areas are about to start being raided

Khalil McKenzie was the most dominating HS player I have every seen and did next to nothing at UT. You never know;

Step off the ledge. Loosing like we did sucks but I think we greatly underestimated how good West Virginia is. You think Florida, South Carolina and Missouri is better or on the same level they are? Because I don’t.

Well let's just shut the program down then. No need to continue the struggle.

It's the same fans that will bash our players for giving up.

WVU is legit. Will Grier might be the best QB we face this season.

Because it’s not all about past winning. It’s about who your coach is, your relationship with him, and your trust with him to develop you and put you in a position to win. This comment was so short sighted.

Then go root for one of those other teams.

Bama's receivers are more talented but young. They looked scary good last night with Tua back there. Just saying yesterday wont be the last time we get sliced up through the air. Fromm, Tua, Lock
We’re going to get sliced up by a lot more than just those three if we don’t get a pass rush very soon.

Calm down Cody. I feel you buddy. This is frustrating. Having said that, recruiting is based on 2 major things. 1. Those on top. 2. Those on the come up. We are recruiting at #2. Players understand that. Pruitt is honest and has a knack for attracting tough kids that will match his personality. The stench of Jones will take about half this season to get rid of and another 2 years to build. As a fan base, it’s time for us to understand where we’re at and enjoy the upsets we delivery until we have the talent to compete.

My comment wasn't about where an elite recuit wants to play, it was about where an elite recruit would see an opportunity. You should have just made your own post to push your own narrative.
