I’d contend he doesn’t need back to back to back #1 classes to remain atop college football. They’ll continue to recruit really well and they’ll kill it in the portal to supplement.

They got Jermaine Burton, Steen kid from Vandy, the best secondary player in the portal Eli Ricks, and the best offensive player in the portal Jahmyr Gibbs. Saban is gonna be just fine.

They already have more 5* than last year and it’s July. They have gotten their highest rated commits AFTER Arch committed. They are also trending with quite a few more blue chip recruits.

Bringing up last year? Last year their per recruit average was 91.17 (at the end of the cycle). Currently it’s 91.54. And like I said it’s only July. But yeah keep on thinking Arch isn’t having an effect on TX recruiting.

People committing that close to Arch means those were long time recruits. Arch didn't commit then other prospects became interested because of Arch and committed within 2 weeks.

You could be right. Time will tell. The landscape of college football is going through a monumental shift at the moment. I see the hill toppling under the king's feet, but I could be wrong. It could just be my hate for Saban and all things Alabama fueling my thoughts. I'm gonna do my best to will it to be so though.

I’m all for Bama’s demise. I just think it’ll happen post-Saban is all. And he’s 70 so maybe he’ll win another and decide to hang it up

Lots of you have asked about Hunter Osborne and while many people are saying this is a Tennessee and Texas battle, we aren’t going to dismiss Clemson just yet. Christopher Vizzina is working him hard even with those around Osborne not caring for the Clemson pressure.

I understand why you say that but IMO it’s easier to find an elite OL than an elite DL and if you have a dominant defensive line then it makes the CB’s job easier. That’s why I have Bradley and Osborne 1 and 2.
