As for Taulia Tagoviolia, the Vols worked hard to get the Alabama quarterback back on campus this weekend. Tennessee hasnt slowed its pursuit of the 4-star quarterback (as noted on the GQ) even after Tagoviolia committed to the Tide.
Tagoviolia was hosted by Jarrett Guarantano and spent a long time with Helton discussing Tennessees future offense and his potential fit in the system. Tagoviolias family has immense respect for Pruitt and has at least left the door ajar for a possible flip.
It wont come easy, though, as the family is also very engrained in Alabama. As Austin noted on the Generals Quarters, the Tide have little interest in seeing Tuas little brother flip to a rival either, working hard to try and squash his visit to Rocky Top. While that didnt happen, Tagoviolia was back in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night at Nick Sabans house hanging with fellow Tide commits and targets.
With limited options on the quarterback market, the Vols appear willing to play this out. They helped themselves this weekend, and while a flip remains tough, theyre likely to get Tagoviolia back on campus again this fall for an official visit and then well see what happens. Stay tuned.
